Well, presumably the average trading guild member doesn't have permission to withdraw gold from the guild's bank account, so the players' accounts should be safe. It's the guild managers or other guild officers who do have permission to withdraw gold who need to watch out.

20:30 in Europe now and the server still has problems.

My alarm clock goes 05:30 and stuck in a loading screen now. I'll guess I have to pass today because server maintenance is not during the night..
