Rated PvP?

Is there any talk of a rated pvp system coming up? I've had my fingers crossed since the latest announcement.

Rated with set teams would be awesome. Hell even just running a weekly or daily refreshing tournament would be cool too

Is it possible to challenge another couple players to a private battleground? (Basically host your own pvp tourney)

If the community could organize something like this on its own and prove there is genuine interest then maybe zos would listen.

It was done and this was before Dueling became a thing, several streamers would put on tournaments in Cyro. it can be done even more now with One Tam and dueling implemented.

Id do it in Zone chat, 1k gold buy in and a grand prize pot single elimination style, just required a lot of trust from your fellow player

I figured as much with dueling but was more curious about 2v2 or 4v4 style tourneys. Or can you do a multiple person duel? Other games like wow for example let you wargame a group of friends and you can do a private (up to) 40v40 match if you wanted to.

With BGs going solo queue only in U25, I suspect in U26 or thereabouts there might be some new team-based pvp concept being introduced. We can hope at least ...

I would hope so, Im a bit flabbergasted at the idea of making BGs solo que only, I have no faith in the group finder to make things balanced in terms of team comps.

hell even a WoW type arena team system would be awesome set teams in a rated game with Gold and gear for prizes
