Which Class/build for 2020?? (PVE)

Ok, its patch time so what better time to waste away pondering silly stuffs? With 2020 here I am all set to dive into ESO, I mean look at all the cool junk that is coming soon! Looking to be a good year. And now that classes are "somewhat" balanced...ok, the numbers are close....Im wanting to play a stam toon since I do love in your face playstyle.
But always the $1000 question.....which one? I don't like to bounce around on alts so would like to main something but which shall it be? StamSorc from what I have rad and seen is strong as and of course Stamcro (but I am waiting for them to get less "clunky"). Warden was fun and all that but bear got annoying after a bit. StamDK is poison fire (how does that work?) and Templars while really strong, for me, I dunno, the jabbymcjabness gets old. Looks like I am trying to talk myself into giving StamBlade a go, and while never really a fan of the "rogue" archetypes reckon it wouldn't hurt to try again. If the burst is what folks claim then that just might be the ticket.
Anyways....do share, give us all some good reading until patch/maint is over!! Who knows, something good might come of it?

I would still go templar, the aoe heal DoT that purges and actually costs magicka is my reasoning, i am a utility sucker

It's hard to say until the PTS notes are up. There are usually pretty big balance swings every patch, I'd take a look and try to get an idea of where the devs want to take the game. See what's getting buffed, nerfed, left alone, etc... and you can usually tell what's going to be OP right from the patch notes.

Good point! Wasn't even thinking in terms of the new patch and all...was just referring to what we have now. Might just have to wait and see...

That is a freakishly fantastic skill. Getting all that in one skill is one of the most useful ones in my kit.

templar. warden.necromancer. Why bother playing anything else as far as PvP goes ?

Templar or sorc both have sick heals / major ward up all the time and do amazing damage.

Any class can play any role. At least that's the base idea. It is a fact, that each weapon has a skill table on it's own, and you can use that good. So even as a sorcerer you can start killing enemies in heavy armor, and two-handed.

One exception though. The nighblade is the only character capable of efficient sneaking. In fact it's a bit too efficient. You can sneak through pretty much anywhere without effort. It's quite an advantage to feed as vampire. Though i hope, that they make combat feed a thing.

Not sure how up to date that one though. I only have templar, and nightblade, and i can tell, that the Templar is truly much stronger as tank, and healer.

Also forget burst in heavy PVE. Sneak attack is great for PVP, and overworld, but in dungeons they hardly mean anything. Focus on DPS on the long term, because you can't burst bosses. Ever.

Stamplar seems to be the "peoples" choice...lets see what all the hype is about.....
