what if a "blood magic" stick ?

Well, in view of the vampiric year ahead and if a new weapon could come into play and as you will have understood I am referring to a weapon like a blood magic type stick, personally I have been dreaming for a long time of seeing a stick like this in TESO.

It could either be used as magic damage of course, but why not focus more on the control or drainage of life? Or see fear why not?

What do you think about that?

Of course, a red color would be required for most of the effects :p

Won't happen, a new weapon would be something worth selling in a chapter. Since there is nothing for 2020, raise your hopes for the 2021 chapter releasing a new weapon. There is no quarterly DLC they would pair something like a new weapon with so that ship has sailed.

Edit: Also, no more sticks. It's time magicka users got the ability to simply use their hands to cast. In the 3 elder scrolls games I've played, I never once used a staff. Pretty sure most magicka players want something completely polar opposite to another stick, although I enjoy your idea, we can only earn so much at a time. Maybe for a 2022 or 2023 chapter release.

By a stick do you mean a staff, or wand?

You mean like a straw that you can plug into your victim by magic and drink blood out of them?

Let's just use "Scepters". No wands. This isn't Harry Potter.

I wouldn't mind if ZOS dropped the magic damage increase from dual wielding swords to add magicka-based "scepters" as dual wielding.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

I'm actually astounded by the fact they somehow got /staves/ to be the big important thing magic users wield in ESO tbh.

As lore wise, staves in-general (not some big artifact level staff) are quite bad and literally meant for people that can't cast magic.

Really hoping to eventually see classic hand magic, which imo is very likely to be the next weapon. ESPECIALLY since the lead game design dude recently said sword and rune is a myth that they don't even have their sights on.

I'd be surprised if the next thing they add isn't hand magic. In fact, I don't know what else they'd add next year. They can't add a stam weapon, people would be EXTREMELY up in arms about that. (considering magicka users get literally just staves)

And I also don't really see a combat/guild skill line being added either. Then again, next year is a "class" year. But I also genuinely don't know what they'd do for a class. (No, we are not getting bard ever.) Here's to hoping they surprise us with a mixture of new weapons and maybe a new skill line (if they can think of one).

Personally, I'd take spears, hand magic, and a new guild/world skill line over a class. Actually, something I hope they look at eventually is the Soul Magic skill line. Kinda wack that there's only 1 ability that isn't an ultimate in that when there's plenty of soul themed abilities in the game. Could be re-worked/updated with an expansion where Mannimarco comes back.

Now I'm just rambling, but basically I would be VERY surprised if next year we don't get some sort of new weapon. I also feel like magicka users are starting to hit the breaking point, especially since this year we didn't get any. I feel like they'd at the very least need to add in new staves...(Like conjuration, illusion, alteration)

I can see the trick coming, for magic by the hands, they're going to take us out as an excuse that "the game engine doesn't allow them to do that" :D

As a new stam weapon there could be one, it could be the "crossbow", a weapon not impossible to make since there is already a <<spell>> with that name in the warrior guild,;)
