I play a Redguard stam DK dw/bow, and I was thinking about changing to a Orc for the extra damage. Would it really be worth doing this?

No if you like your race.
If you don't care about you race, it depends.

Many will trade Redguard/Bosmer for Orc and will be enforced to switch one jewelry damage glyph to sustain. It all comes to your build and how good you are with managing your sustain.

All the best stamina races are very close in terms of damage (less than 500 if i remember correctly),so there is absolutely no point of changing if you not a crazy min maxer that get triggered if your race and everything else is not bis

You're thinking about magicka. The stamina races aren't as balanced.

This kind of question is quite subjective and also depends on the build, content and playstyle.

Orc does more damage and has more manoeuvrability (faster). This can be great for burst damage, and particularly good for PVP gameplay.

Redguard has more resource sustain, which can allow you to maintain a more consistent rotation, therefore increasing damage over all.

As a simple rule, Id say dont consider it if you find that you run out of or run low on stamina, with your Redguard. if your sustain is fine, then sure give Orc a try, it may increase your dps.

Yes, if you want more sustain go bosmer. If you want more damage or orc. Nord may be a better overall choice than either though

What about dark elf you get the weapon damage, almost as much max stam while looking like a whole snack
