Agree. It is a large neon sign saying, “take this persons tel.”

I disagree OP. It is a niche set that has a single use which is IC.

It also makes for interesting solo builds. IC is half dead anyway so why make it even more lame

It is super OP.... only in the sewers, with atleast 10k telvar, and a large blue glow that tells everyone to focus you. Also great false confidence for bad players.

Used to be false confidence a few patches ago. But now it is absolutely busted. Idk what changes they made but it's a very stupid set and should be gotten rid of or reworked. I'm sure anyone actually cowardly enough to run it will probably not be mad if it disappeared from their inventory lmao like unless they're bad enough that it's a crutch even then like how to you live with yourself equipping that cheese set.

What do you think changed? I don't recall seeing anything.

Why so angry about it. It's a beacon on who to focus lol.

It's a niche set that adds some spice to IC, most of which has been taken away with all the changes. Why make the whole game dull. Sets not a problem.

Let’s be honest it’s not just used by solo players, I mostly see it used by groups of players running around being annoying. Can’t kill you but you sure as hell can’t kill them either. It’s cheesy , only “balanced” because it’s exclusive to a dead zone.

Because it is drastically favored to magicka users than to stamina users and it's a cheap easy way for any magicka user to just be straight broken in imp city. If anything I think it needs to be gone or more flavor. Something other than a basic buff.

That said the set should be kept in IC, as is. It is available to everyone and has always added to IC in a good way.

if you have been to imp city at all you know that a blue light over your head is literally going to make no difference in somebody wanting to kill you or not.... banking every 10k telvar is a fools errand. and yea im posting because i'm trying to help zos balance the game. i haven't come up with these opinions on my own lol it's common consensus amongst eveyone ive dueled in imp city.

It's honestly not good at all on stamina users. its busted on magicka users though. That's why i think it needs to be reworked or gotten rid of. Imp city is like the only pvp zone that is free of eso spergetry aside from this cheese set.

This is entirely unrelated to the tank meta. It's just a cheesy set for magicka users that really has no drawback except being exclusive to the zone. The blue light makes 0 difference. If you could use that set outside imp city you'd see literally every magicka pvp build use it because of how ridiculously strong it is. It's literally like the poop stain on the white underwear that is imp city. Everything else about the zone is utterly perfect other than the lack of loot dropped by the molag bal boss in the center of the sewers.

I'm banking every 250 (not 250k, no, I MEAN 250) TV I can get my hands on. Which is why I own the incredible amount of 35.000k TV after incredible five years of playing xD... if I didn't bank every 250 TV, I probably had no TV at all, as often as I break my neck down there. Just keys.

Yeah, you can tell I'm not ICing much. And whenever I do, I just wear my solo PVE street clothes.

So someone using it killed you and here you are; NERF NERF NERF.

Wow, really? When others see the blue glow they focus him/her down and reap the rewards. Not smart to try to take the player on one on one unless you are a highly skilled player.

Most of the people using it are very, very experienced and carry Sigil of Retreat as well so they can zip back home with their goodies.

Put a few friends together and hunt em down. Have fun going after easy rewards.

think you need to go have a look at what the set Actually does before call for its nerf...........................wait i'll do it for you :)

(2 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(3 items) Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(4 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(5 items) While you are in Imperial City, you tap into the power of the Tel Var Stones you are carrying, increasing your Health, Magicka, and Stamina by 1032. While you have a 4x Tel Var Stone multiplier this effect is increased by 600%.

Looks pretty balanced to me and i see no crutch for a magicka user

Nothing about the set is a crutch for either damage or tank builds. As has been pointed out it is very balanced overall.

I'd agree it's better on magicka classes, but that's not the set, it's the way the game balances magic and stam. Stam classes don't generally need the extra magicka, whereas a mag player will be less like to get drained of stamina and/or can use the extra stam pool for sprinting.

Like lets put it this way. Imagine if the dark forest in rune scape had a set exclusive to the dark forest that made you massively overpowered but when someone is within your character pain they had a red light on their head.

Dude there is literally no risk with wearing the set that you don't already have in IC. It does not matter if you have a light over your head people are going to want to kill you anyways. If you spent any time in IC you would know this by now. And exactly it is just an over powered set for magicka users not stamina users. It needs to be re-purposed or gotten rid of.

^this to anyone who actually somehow doesn't understand how much more ridiculously strong this set is for magicka users. Oh and shields scale with max magicka right? Thats like an easy 50% health pool on every shield you stack with the 50% cap raised based on the absurd amount of health it gives you. Hmmmmmm. Zos repurpose the set. Make it give you more telvar if you farm wearing it instead of a ridiculously overpowered set that only supports one style of play. That would actually be interesting instead of giving a good magsorc or magcro ridiculously op every 10k telvar.

I have stated why throughout this entire post. With how the set functions it makes a magsorc broken but does not have the same affect on any stam user because of how stats and shields work. Any good magicka user is going to destroy any stamina user with the set on. It favors one style of gameplay. That is why it needs to be reworked or removed.

It’s a matter of perspective. Seen people say this set is fine but complained about pirate skeleton and those same people happened to use BRP weapons plus run around with near capped resistance.

There is a down side to the set but it’s not really a down side because tel var is easily obtained and 10k isn’t a lot. If a set like this existed in open world the tone would change, it’s the fact it’s in imp city that makes it fine. No one really plays in there but specced right you can turn yourself into a mini emp resource wise.

I don’t care to nerf it, that’s the problem now everything gets nerfed, however I’m not going to pretend it’s balanced. It’s not meant to be balanced either, the “balance” is suppose to be the risk of losing stones. But we know no one actually cares about that part of it or else they most likely wouldn’t put it on.

If it was a 20-30k cap I'd be chill with how busted it is towards only magicka users. I have also found the best pvp to exist in IC. It's the least zerged, there is actual punishment to dying/reward to killing, it is the most lucrative gold farm in the game if you are good at pvp/pve, and it's styled off the dark forest which is probably the best pvp zone ever created in any mmo. Imp phys literally just *** on the holy temple that is imperial city. Most people who go there often are also pretty annoyed by it and want it gone. I am not simply speaking for myself.
