Are you guys ever going to revamp the cp system or replace it with something else? It's makes no sense to keep accumulating cp points but I can't use any of them since I'm at 810. I'm sorry but other MMOs have way better end game advancement systems. Btw I'm not impressed by the New dlc.

At this point I'd be most looking forward to a CP revamp. Why can't we get an update on this?

Was everyone too busy with the vampire changes? For a whole year?
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

Im sure there is a ESO team working on this. It's no small part of the game as it touches everything. How do you make a char continuously progress without making every new player not have to spend years grinding before they can complete? It's not easy. I have seen some players with over 1700CP.

The one thing I noticed was that Rich said something (don't quote me, but antiquities/mythic gear?) would only work "at CP160 and above" - so that was my clue that CP is sticking around, for this year at least.

    Edit: missing word.
Edit 2: missing letter, and apparently missing coffee...

Rich confirmed last night that they are still reworking the system and are not ready to present the details yet. I think rn they're more concerned about getting the game stable

Seems like something official about the Champion System was said in a stream (Alcast‘s?) after the announcement ceremony was over.

What was said: they are working on it but nothing CP related is coming this year.

CP will not see a change until after all of the reworks of skills, classes, and passives that they're going to still have to do for all the new shitt that they're continuously adding in

Off topic but once you reach 810 you keep gaining CP but they do not affect anything when you apply them? I'm 710 now which is why I'm asking.

If anyone had told us that an MMO could make it this long in the absence of character progression, none of us would have believed it.

On one hand it is a testament to the quality of the game that it could survive having done so. But on the other hand it is still outrageous. They need to both make this a higher priority and also communicate better.

You can’t apply them, you can only allocate the 810, everything after that is pretty much pointless until they raise the cp cap again

@Veinblood1965 The game only allows you to allocate 810cp despite of how much more you already earned. The rest remains unused.

Next patch, you can reach level 55/60. Minor amount of grinding, grinding that can usually be achieved with the content released in the patch the level cap was raised (as other MMOs do). Problem solved.

Zos is not going to talk about CP until they have a firm idea of how they will change it. It really is that simple.

CP probably isn't gonna be completely removed, too much work has been put into it, and it's hooked into too many places to just gut and pull the thing. We're probably either gonna see a rebalance (changing numbers, stats, maybe even reorganising things so people have to actually make choices), or a rework (replacing it with, say, a class specialisation system, or something).
