Blood Scions/Vampire Lords are coming but finally vampirism that is vampirism.

I'm happy about the feeding animaton changes. We are going to feed like vampires for a change.
But also they are reversing it so you have to feed to get stronger what I'm happy about.
We are getting more vampire abilties.
But I'm excited about the feeding and the reversal of the typical mold. You got to feed now! Its more active of a skill line.

They are revamping the skill line adding a new ultimate called Bloodscion.
They are not focusing to much on the volkihar but. Lamaes blood line is unique that we will get abilties from all kinds of vampires. She can accomindate almost from what I gathered being the first vampire going by what they said.
So the Blood Scion/Vampire lord will not be Volkihar. We will not see Harkon, hes doing his own thing. Doing his own plans and all that.

I really hope that the ulti will be standalone skill that isn't required to do anything else in that tree. I want to be vampire but I don't want to be blood scion.

sure, but I dont like that change, goes counter to how vampirism has been in TES for a while now, and removes one of the things that makes it more unique

I have an alchemy vampire that has to feed to remain stronger icly but she isn't a vampire lord or anything. She is more of a mix of oblivion vampire stats mixed into with the skyrim type of sunlight weakness. I like the change. I wonder if it will alter the vampirism appearance they better be adding fangs to our vampires. I will be so disappointed if they do not.

Do you mean that the skill line is going to become more of an active ability skill line? And did they confirm at all if the Bloodscion ult will be a transformation?

Also any news on when we'll get to see the re-vamp?

If the Vampire rework comes with the dungeon DLC it's March, if it comes with the Chapter it's June.

I think what the might do is add more vampire abilties but the skill line might have two ulitmates. But they could be altered that to fit the blood scion. Vampiric abilties would be in both forms I'm gathering maybe vampire lord will be where those abilties might be stronger but we don't know how the blood scion is going to work yet. But who knows maybe they will remove the bat swarm ultimate but if I was them I would keep that as well.

Vampires in ESO have always been vampires. Just because the do not fit an extremely narrow definition someone has for vampires is meaningless. Anyone with actual interests with vampires knows that there have been different variations over time so it nonsense to say ESO vampires have been nothing less than Zos' design for vampires.

Its coming with the chapter. Kinda wished it would come with the first dlc but then I can wait.
