This is the main feature I'm looking forward to with this expansion.
Also, Necromancer desperately needs a tanking summon (even if 16-20 seconds duration only).
Also, since Castle Volkihar is present, we will hopefully get a Vampire questline.
And anyone remembers if Winderhold already exists in the 2nd Era?
This largely reminds me of the old times and the "Noers" when we were hugely and widely requesting a Necromancer class, or even just a World Skill line.
"NO"
"ITS AGAINS THE LORE"
"IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN BECAUSE MANNIMARCO"
Shut the hell up already you naysayers, we don't need your noes. Most of you will most surely play the Vampire Lord after your "no's" here in this thread.
Sames as the naysayers of the Necromancer class did back in the time.
Good thing the devs completely ignore the noers and listen to the ones that want new features and elaborte why and how they want such features.
I will enjoy my Vampire Lord Necromancer very much.

I'm not sure why anyone would say that Necromancy "breaks lore".
Necromancy isn't rare at all. Not even close. It may actually be one of the more common applications of magic in Tamriel. But common does not mean legal/tolerated.
How many ruined castles/caves/camps do you find in any TES game ever filled to the brim with necromancers? Loads. Like, practically every other cave.
So no, anyone saying necromancy "breaks lore" is a bit silly if you ask me.
However...
Vampire Lords on the other hand? No, these are (were) rare.
I am disappointed to be quite honest.
I know some people have referenced "But Skyrim..."
Yes. Skyrim. Where there is only one player character. See why the comparison falls flat?
NO.
Transformations are lazy and honestly ugly. There are many other more interesting things that they can do with the skill "Lords" should stay rare instead of every wanna be edge lord
