Hello I am the person who created the thread on the forums asking if these notes were real unfortunately alot of people have come to the conclusion that I made them and I am a liar or made people feel some type of way.
That simply isnt true I copy and pasted those "notes" exactly how they were and posted them here on Xbox NA those notes were flying through pvp everywhere in official large pvp guild Discords for instance Rivals a huge red faction pvp guild that has existed for years.
My intention was not to upset the GMs at all nor anyone else I simply wanted answers I'm sorry for anybody I upset or made feel some type of way everyone on xbox currently is convinced these are real. <3 love the eso community hope you can forgive me. Only human live and learn.

You didn't leak anything. Someone did post something on the forums but GIna herself personally closed that thread calling them fake. They do look realistic in a way though so for fake notes someone took their time on it. Its something I don't think would have been thought up with quickly.

Its either one Its A Fake or its a Nothing to see here move along citizen thing. I doubt they will allow this thread to remain open or allow us to talk about this however. Sadly we are living in a time period where people consider whats real to be fake and whats fake to be real so I do think that has played a part in this if they are fake. I wouldn't have apologized for asking a question. I think it would have been likely your thread would have remained open if something didn't post the version of the fake patch notes which are being called such by Gina. We will have to see what the real ones have in store and that will not be until next week most likely. If not next week the next week after. Since its going to be a major update. This update will require a game reinstall. So everyone is going to be effected by update 25. Of course there will be combat changes and changes to other stuff. How they play out remains to be seen.

Giving what has happened Unfortunately. More people will likely believe you now. Then not believe you. So I woudn't worry to much about it. I don't hold it against you and hopefully people forgive you on this.

One thing this did do I have not doubt was actually get a response to some of what they are actually doing from the leader combat dev.
    Hello all!

We’d like to take some time to go over our goals for the next Update coming to ESO, and some of the more noteworthy changes you’ll see.

For Update 25, the Combat Team’s primary focus has been on performance improvements, particularly related to Block and item set proc conditions. While making these adjustments, we are also bringing any item sets affected into combat standards. As a reminder, the term “standards” means we are simply using consistent formulas that determine how much an ability should cost and how effective it should be based on various factors such as being an Area Effect, having an Over-Time effect, complexity of execution, etc. This process will continue in future updates for item sets.

Block is an ability that everyone can use at any time, which means it can create a lot of traffic for the server to handle. In our continued efforts to improve performance, we are adjusting how the ability works under the hood. You will still be able to do everything you used to with Block. What you’ll notice is animations will blend a bit differently out of a “block cancel”, but the effectiveness of an ability will remain and function the same; the ability will still fire when “block cancelled” but you won’t have any “dead time” before the global combat cooldown ends. This should also get rid of a few health desync issues when getting killing blows with abilities that have been triggered after a block cancel. By refactoring Block much the same way we did with Sprint in the previous Update, we expect the usage of that ability to be more performant.

Next, we’ve been focusing on bug fixes and conditional logic (item set and ability procs). Many abilities and item sets have to step through several requirements to fire their effect beyond their standard line of sight, cost, range, etc. From these changes, the conditions for procs will now work more reliably with their stated requirements. For example, Scathing Mage will no longer erroneously trigger from the first tick of any Damage over Time, and Reflective Scales will no longer work versus channeled effects such as Radiant Destruction. While making these fixes, many of the item sets affected have also been updated to fall in line with our item set or ability standards to ensure their overall power remains closer to their intended design.

Finally, we are addressing Magicka/Stamina sustain, especially in encounters where longer fights or prolonged damage in specific areas are required. With that in mind, we are reducing the cost of Area of Effect Damage over Time (AE DoT) abilities to reduce the pressure on your Magicka/Stamina while utilizing a rotation involving an AE DoT. This does result in a revised standard between Single Target DoTs and AE DoTs which we will be evaluating with the live game and on the PTS.

Again, our focus for U25 is primarily on performance updates and bug fixing which you’ll see in more detail when we publish the patch notes. We encourage everyone to hop on the PTS when we publish U25 to run through the adjustments and give us feedback!

I do think they found it worrying enough to actually communicate and explain what they are doing. I doubt they would have even posted this without what happened yesterday here on the forums. They might have posted it later though but they might have posted it earlier do to the fact.

I don't believe this line of thought, at least not to the extent some tin foil hat forum goers are. Update after update within the past year, they've typically released early comments about the next update about a week before the PTS patch cycle starts. Last year, the PTS began a week after the announcement of the new chapter on week 3 of January so everything is happening exactly the same as last years chain of events.

Well either way, tin foil or not. Good things to come out it all having confirmation that the devs do in fact read the forums. Read what we post and everything. That is good at least from all this does give them more creditably they do seem to have improved on their communication though I think. But they can do more on that front. Now I do wonder what wonders those patch notes have in store for update 25. I try to balance out what I believe, like you can't believe everything I was gullible when I was younger. But at the same time I think its healthy to at least keep an open mind even if its very hard to do sometimes. Its worth it to keep an open mind on everything. As we don't know for sure. All we know is what we can see or the truths that we think we know or the false hoods we believe.

But one thing to consider too. This is Zenimaxs game not ours. What they do to it is what they want to do with it. We can provide feed back hope we can complain we can do all of that. But its their choice to do anything. They will listen of course up to a point sometime listen to much or too little. But it is their game. All we have access to is the rights to play it. Since its an mmoprg style game. They own it we buy into it and hope they keep it running.
