Capture 9 resources Quest - Cyrodiil Daily. BUGGED!?

Trying to get an understanding on this if this is indeed bugged or not. Capping a resource does not count 70% of the time, towards the capture any 9 Resource Daily Quest. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick to get it to count every time? There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why this is happening. A quick forum scan and it looks as though no one is talking about this...?
Can anyone shed some light?

It cant be a ress you capped already.

So, for example, you cant cap chal farm twice or it does not count it.

Make sure its 9 UNIQUE ( to the day you pick up the quest )

Definitely not capping the same resource. Maybe you can't do 2 lumbers in a row, regardless of where there are, but only guessing? Very strange.

If you crossed server time 00:00 you might get a problem because it stops counting those you capped before the days end.

Capture any 3 keeps is the same way, more than half of the time it won't count it even though they're different keeps the whole time.

Hummmnn. I don't think so. Its like every second capture does not goe through to count for the daily

I often take a few resources one evening then finish off the quest the next day, never had any issues like this and I do that a lot.

As others have said, it needs to be 3 unique resources or keeps. And you also need to be in range of the resource or keep when you get the AP tick for taking it. I've had a few occasions where I've fought at a keep or resource, died and ressed somewhere else. Then the keep/res gets taken and I get the AP, but not progress on the quest since I'm not in range.

This is almost always an issue with the player leaving the resource too early, or trying to cap the same resource twice, @HjorrMundGandr.

This only happens to me when I hit a load screen when the keep flips, so basically every single time

. I always abandon the cap 3 keeps quest, I can never even get continuous attack from a keep because the load screen

Finally someone else this is happening too. I can guarantee that I am not leaving the area of capture, stealthing etc.. I am the one to initiate capture.

It's been this way sine forever to my knowledge, i feel they mean 3 specific keeps but fail to mention it properly.

Capturing the same resource twice probably it. Otherwise it seems to work
