UI_Error with no addons and default UI

UI_Error with default UI and fresh install of the game on a system that never had the game installed on previously

Help please, been back and forth with support going on 4 days now.

    have you ever had Addons installed? check your addons folder as there seems to be a conflict with the chat system, failing that run a repair and install something like Pchat see if it solves the issue

    Fresh install on a system that never had the game on it with no addons installed, repaired the game 10+ times every time support told me to, even uninstalled and downloaded again.

    Forgot to mention that this problem only exists on my old characters, the 3 new ones I made in the last 2 weeks don't have the error.

    check your addons tab, some addons leave an imprint on your toons settings so you may have to install the addons you had before and disable them again

    Pretty sure the problem is from using chat multi tab when I played 2-3 years ago

    Thanks for putting me on the path to finding this on esoui. Was able to resolve my issues. Would be nice if this addon still worked, was very convenient to have 2 separate chat windows, one I had set up for just group and raid, other was set to a tab for general (zone, say, etc + lootdrop, and other tabs were set to trade guillds and main guild.
