Can I create this master writ or not?

I have just spent a whole hour going through umpteen crafting screens and a spreadsheet (yes a spreadsheet), trying to work out with pen and paper (yes, pen and paper) whether or not I had learned the right motifs, researched the right styles and had all the bits and pieces to craft the writs I had stored in the bank.

For the love of God can we just a get a damned indicator on the things, yes you can create this or no you can't. It's the 21st century, in a video game, played on a computer, I shouldn't be having to resort to pen and paper.

It got boring very quickly and I just went and did something else. It is just too tedious. I spent a whole hour sat just looking at a game instead of playing it and achieved absolutely nothing.

I agree that it should be base game, but...

Since you said computer... there's an addon for that. WritWorthy.

You are in luck since addons are not going to be banned next patch. There is a number of writ crafting addons.

And if you are on a console, well, I'm sorry.

I just go into Achievements tab-Lore-then look at each style I know...? I'm 9 trait so I don't need to spend the time walking to a crafting table (so much work...) to see if I know the trait.

When your main crafter has all 9 traits, and all the motifs you've learned, why would you need a spreadsheet? You can use your journal/achievements or Lore to track the motifs if you don't remember which ones you might not have all parts yet. Normal writs use mats at the level of your crafter, usually. Masterwrits are all cp150, so rubedite, rubedo, and ancestor silk.
