Keyboard and mouse

Hi guys, looking for a bit of advice... I used to play eso on xbox so was used to keypad but moved to pc for qol but kept with game pad as I found kb/m difficult. I have a gaming keyboard and decent mouse with side buttons. I prefer the ui with keyboard but unsure how to efficiently map my keyboard. I know getting used to keyboard will be difficult at first but want a better experience than pad as it's getting a bit shot at, any suggestions please

1: practice, you'll figure it out
2: bind the more often used powers [spamables/heals] to your mouse buttons
3: bind dodge roll to left alt, easier than double tapping
4: bind the other things [break free, bar swap, quick wheel, ect] to what feels the most comfortble to ya

I do not know what type of mouse you are using. I have one with 12 buttons on the side and use that for everything from skilled, bar swap, potions and a few more things. Outside of the direction keys and movement everything else I use while in combat is on that mouse.

Over time I have tweaks it to what works for me and that is really something that is personal to everyone. I do have my 5 skills and bar swap on the middle two rows.

Also, it takes time to develop the muscle memory so be patient.

If you can look up a Logitech G13. I came from Xbox and use the G13 and Razer Naga mouse found it to be a pretty easy switch.

    I dont make many adjustments.

    I do move the Ultimate to 6 , (from R ), and I put potions on 7 ( because I keep accidentally using them at Q )

I set up F9 to take screenshots and F12 to make the GUI invisible

I just use the other mapped keys as they are

Well with my Razer Naga I have plenty of keys and buttons. I use the thumbstick and two buttons by it for menus, mounting and map.

I was using a Logitech G11 keyboard and a Logitech G502 Proteus gaming mouse when I started in the summer of 2018, but I ditched those this year in favor of a Razer Orbweaver Chroma keypad, Redragon K556 keyboard, and a Redragon M908 MMO mouse (12 side-buttons).

    I still suck. :D

Middle mouse button for roll and tab for bar swap are the only key binds I use.

I keep the changes small so it's easy to configure each time I make a new PTS character.

I also hate micw buttons. Lots of people use side buttons and scroll binds, not me, don't like how it feels.

tbh don't bother with a game pad, just go with a normal keyboard of your choice, but I highly suggest getting a logitech g600 mouse. Do not buy the razor counterpart, the naga, for some reason they end up having multiple problems within a month or so and cost 3x the price. I went through 3 of them until I got a g600 which has lasted me two years so far.

with the 12 buttons on the side of the mouse, you can make animation cancelling really simple for yourself.
    5 abilities
    weapon swap
    bash
    command pet
4 potion hotkeys (using greymind quickslot bar)

Not sure where you buy your Naga but I own two. One for traveling and laptop when home and the other for home PC. I used to travel 48 weeks a year and my razer has lasted three years on the road with no issues.

Now I have never owned a logitech G600 so not going to go your route and blindly bash it, just stating the Naga is a quality mouse.

All I'm saying is my Naga is fine.

I think with Razer when one goes wrong it gets treated like 100 did. I can understand given the price but honestly I think the failure rate is actually no different than any other brand.
