Please update the Ignore system.

It is all to easy to put somebody on ignore by mistake with the current drop down option.

I think it would make much more sense for a typed confirmation of an ignore like we do for destroying items.

never tried it, but isn't there any way to get someone 'off' ignore? doesn't it give you a list of people you have on 'ignore'?

It does, and it takes like 30 seconds to do too. The less of those "type something in all caps to prove that you are a big boy and actually want to press the button you have pressed" the better.

Don't know which platform OP is on but on pc there's a tab of ignores on the friend ui. You can unignore people from there.

I thought this would be a post asking to increase the limit again. I think I'd like that. A confirmation box? Meh. The faster I can ignore someone the better.

yes please increase the ignore limit. this game brings some pretty awful people to the yard, and i want their voices reaching as little people as possible.

I know how to take people off ignore.

The issue is when somebody else has mistakenly put me on ignore it is impossible to contact them to sort it out.

Where ignore is on the drop down list is stupid right next to whisper. I know many people this has happened to.

Maybe repositioning the option from the middle to the top or bottom of the drop down list is a better option if people don't like a typing option or maybe a popup just asking for confirmation like when deconning.

Took 30 minutes of juggling messages between people to get the issue sorted.

The guy had put me on ignore by mistake yesterday when whispering his last message but because he did not realise his mistake; it caused right issues until I had the idea of grouping him instead which is when I found out he had ignored me (again by mistake).

He was whispering me because I had offered him a new life festival writ. I tried to mail it to him but it bounced. Then I tried to whisper him but obviously that didn't happen so I tired to speak to him in guild chat. I didn't know he couldn't see my messages and he didn't know I couldn't see his. That's when I tried grouping by which time he had started a trial, arrgh. So I got somebody to mail him to let him know the issue.
