Bash Goliath Rendered Useless?

Although this ultimate was extremely powerful when released, now I hardly see anyone EVER use it at all. Even the other morph " ravenous goliath" I currently play on PS4 NA.

Terrible initial idea, but yeah, now its neutered and useless. But every class has useless skills, so why not necro?

I agree every class has useless " skills" but useless ultimates not so much, dragonknight magma shell like I said should have increased flame damage. But overall it's still a really good ultimate pve/pvp wise, but the goliath ultimate is rubbish from both stand points.

Nightblade has two neutered ultimates and another that costs too much to provide so little.

Can't say I feel bad for other classes.

They should completely change Goliath form ulti.

It is also bugged, so that when you transform you often end up not being able to swap bars even 5 minutes after it has already ended.. had to stop using it - not nice getting locked out of half of your abilities for so long time at PVP.

Necro already had troubles with clunkiness and bugs on its regular abilities, wish one of its class identity ultimates would not also be bugged to almost not being worth using.

I feel you. I played yesterday for an hour on my magblade again trying to use Soul Siphon and Soul Harvest. Got so frustrated after an hour with the cast time clunkiness of them making playing feel like garbage.

Logged out to play another class without such frustrations.

Goliath shouldn't be bashing shield in the first place. In that form you should be punching stuff (like in the cinematic). I always thought it was a weird concept.

As for magicka morph. It's just a plain confusing design. It's an "oh ***" heal and health absorption and your light and heavy attacks heal you? I get it's meant to be sort of a god mode ulti but it just lacks the flair. You don't really feel powerful in the form. It's more of a self heal bot ulti.

Also, has anyone ever seen blast bones rise up when using the res ulti? I am still yet to see it on this morph and I've basically mained MagNecro since it's release.

Yeah I use reanimate blast bones ultimate and I love it, I wish it did not cost do much and I wish they had 1 morph revive your allies and another animate "JUST" blastbones. But the goliath ultimate needs another rework altogether it's not even worth using at all.

Reanimate blastbones is useless??? I mean what did I expect really. I’ve never used either morph of it. It seems more like a pvp Rez.

In pve, I don’t have to Rez 3 on a necro healer if they don’t die in the first place. Rez 3 seems better for last tank standing fights or trials when the raid is split into groups.

I honestly THINK and WISH Zos would listen to this. Reanimate Blast bones SHOULD be separated from one morph being strictly for resurrection and another morph that reanimate blast bones. The fact that you have a morph that can not only can resurrect fallen teammates, but also do damage at the same time is a bit much,.

I love the ultimate, it's my go to for when I play necromancer, But I much rather be able to use a morph strictly focused on damage alone. I know they will NOT change it to the way I mentioned.

Hell dragonknights are kind of a prime example, they have corrosive armor which is strictly focused on damage, and magma shell which is more of a tankish morph that does minor flame damage.

Zos you should really seperate the two, you guys had a semi good idea with necromancers, but it really needs a real "Hard" rework.

I mean you might be able to do a bash focused build. Enchant jewelry to increase bash damage, use Maarselok monster set and try to do some ult gen set combo'd with a damage set (Champion of Hist, Werewolf Hide, etc.)

Just not sure how effective it will be.

It hits really damn hard, having an instant cleave has helped me land so many killing blows in a build that otherwise does not have that capacity, the problem is almost always this ult I am using when about to die so I need health to go back ASAP and when you are going to eat stuns you can't light attack for the health gain, I love this morph but the only way it can work better is if there is a lifedrain on the BASH. It's more a matter of the other one being just way better you can stand in a raid of enemy and not die, you can eat a stun and live or if you are light attacking the combined health gains heal for tons allowing you to use the extra health pool while it's there, if you have a healer the bash one is really cool it adds a whole other function to the ult I have used it with Marselok helm mostly to see if there was a way to double proc it like some sets can do but it seems no you can't.

It works as a compliment/finisher now versus an exclusive. Still has bite, imo in noncp.

It wouldn't be effective unfortunately the bash ultimate is just utter garbage.
