It's such a simple thing that it's overlooked by many, but when you play as much as i do it's a great convenience. I mean, who wouldn't want to have one hand free when you are moving?
Honestly i think it's very lame that there is no option for other than turning on game pad mode, but that brings other problems with it.

✭I've switched up my keybindings for jump and sprint - so that sprint = spacebar, and jump = SHIFT.
Although the original keybinding makes sense in that many other games also use that setup, the ergonomics of it in ESO are questionable at best - since in normal gameplay you will be sprinting A LOT more than you will be jumping.
Sure, it does not solve the problem of having to still hold the sprint key (having to hold spacebar instead) - but at least that's a lot easier on my fingers than holding SHIFT all the time.0
