Please help on picking an alt

Hello everyone!
So I've been playing a warden for a year now, switching between magicka and stamina throughout it's life. I've played other classes but for some reason the playstyle of the warden just clicked for me. However, right now I am trying to decide on an alt friend for my character. I could do either of the following:
- Keep my warden as a stamden (for dps and tank) and use a Magplar as a healer and DPS as well.
- Turn my warden into a magden (for dps and healing) and use a stamdk as a DPS and tank.
I will be using both chars for pvp, and I've tried all of the playstyles for these classes but just can't decide.
For you who have been in this situation, what would you recommend picking?

Merry Christmas!

TBH all depends on your play style, good for me may not be good for you, i just rolled a magplar for PvP and really enjoy its fluid play style and has a very strong toolbag, Stamdens are also fun to play but more so in a group as it offer's alot of utility, if you wanted to try something completely different you could try rolling a Night Blade, very different play style and fun also

You have heavier burst with StamDK this patch and if you build a magplar for damage, you're going to be tankier on the stamDk too.

Magplar is nice though if you can keep up pressure and don't build like the 99%.

Just roll a magplar, it's not that hard and you can make a lot of mistakes without getting punished much

This isn't true OP. Make a mistake on a magplar and you're on your back bar healing - If you don't have the experience to risk lower HP or enough damage to get back on the offensive, you're gonna heal yourself out of resources.

If you wanna run in a group with mist form, snb, bloodspawn or other defensve setups then ye it's a sound class and you can make unlimited mistakes the same way you could on any class with a bot setup.

There's a massive gulf between good and bad magplars and it's easily recognisable (the bad ones are the ones that spend most of their time on their back bar)

I actually thought stamdens had more burst haha. Magplar feels really solid yes, maybe a bit too solid and some changes are coming, but the playstyle itself is really fun

Ah yeah I see that mistake quite often, plars just healing and running out of resources. It ain't that easy I guess

Stamden and Stamdk burst are just as easy to pull off as each other from the user end. Stamden burst is easier to dodge because you can see the sub cast animation and roll/sidestep or whatever you want to avoid that.

Damage wise it's neither here nor there but DK's can do the whole, off balance via roll dodge, heavy attack to stun (about 7k hits due to passives, ob etc) then dizzy, leap, executioner (if it's needed) but against most players you can just proc off balance, heavy, leap, execute.

Both those classes have 3 button 1 shots to be fair so it wouldn't make much difference.

Those DK rotations in PVP are the main thing that draws me to them to be honest haha

Templars are fun yea, DKs too. I think it depends what you want.

Templars with speed is how I like to play it. 2x swift jewellery and the speed mist. Roam around the battlefield switching between healing and damage choosing when to switch back and forth. It’s super fun in a BG to come across a 1v2 on a flag, take out the 2nd on the larger group, bide your time and then Ult the two remaining to take down all 3. Stuff like that.

DK is more about face tanking people and picking your moments. The fun comes from seeing people run from you and thinking, ‘Yea you better run’.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten

    Merry Christmas, Eniredir!

I've recently been in the same situation. At that time I chose to try stamcro. I hit lvl 50 a week or two ago, and at least it was fun, causing havoc while being a speedy, tanky orc in BG.

Then I wanted to try templar, for the first time. At lesser moments, I've experienced 4-5 rows of biting jabs in the death recap. As annoying as those moments have been, a stamplar had to be amazing, right? Now I realize why they spam it, it IS good! But in an attempt to offend no-one, it just felt a bit flat and boring. Like I actually didn't need to do something else than just smash the same 3 buttons or so.. Crazy, huh? (rhetorical, and a bit exaggerating, yes).

It's only halfway to 50, so I'll of course explore the way of the templars more, but in conjunction with the Christmas holiday, and in preparation for the next chapter, (and here comes finally my recommendation for your next alt) I'll be trying something as a nord stamina sorcerer!

Somehow, I consider a stamina based sorcerer/witch/wizard/spell-caster/you-get-the-point, to be the most unnatural combination of a playstyle actual possible.

I mean, think outside the box, and Nirn, for a moment... It's pretty darn illogical, isn't it? I mean, realistically, it makes no freakin' sense, right? For me, it portrays Harry Potter running around with swords, and, and, maybe a shield..? Or even worse - a freaking ruby ash longbow! :D:D

But of course it's possible, it's The Elder Scrolls! <3 And stamsorcs perform even pretty decent, nowadays.

So naturally, ESO-wise, I need to give it a try. And I can probably recommend you to to the same.

I'll be stacking resistances and hp regen, I think, even though it may be silly. Still gonna try to Endless Fury everyone to Oblivion!
