Not really.
You know why is your Ping bad, and that is the lack of Aussie Server and across the globe connections.
Since the US is connecting to home server, they have some right to be mad if the ping is bad, because it shouldn't be.
And just to be clear, I would like that you guys have your own server and better ping.

It’s regrettable NA is now experiencing Aussie-style latency... I haven’t logged-in yet (Perth, WA) and don’t know what awaits when I do? Prior to maintenance I was hovering around 300-310, but a while back with Akamai bottlenecks I was sitting at over 500.
I once got into a discussion with a NA player about performance, and when I mentioned issues created by this lag, all I received was a ‘git gud’ and to stop making excuses. It seems a few might potentially discover empathy!?
I hope ZOS do indeed fix latency for all, but I can’t help feeling a little mischievous hoping some of these NA PvP heroes encounter what we’ve put up with for years, and really ‘git gud’ when they meet a suitably motivated Aussie on equal terms. That’s not me by the way... I actually do need to ‘git gud’.

This is quite relevant right now... try to see where you are in this picture... don't be a Theon Greyjoy and accept everything your way.

When has that argument ever been legit lol? Someone else having a worse situation doesn't mean everyone else is no longer allowed to be upset by their own misfortunes.

I often see disputes when people request that content (like dragons at nighttime) get easier, and usually US players protest against this request. They do not experience the *additional* difficulty caused by lag, making it impossible to finish such content.
The current issue might help to raise awareness that an answer like "you can solo that" is not correct if the setting is not working as intended.
