race is very very very unlikely since no new race was ever added, all classic TES races are present and nothing has ever been hinted at or discussed about new races

New class is a possibility but probably also very unlikely because the general feedback seems to be rather cautious with regards to new classes due to balancing and bug fixing issues of existing classes especially the newest release of necromancer...its certainly a possibility with bard being mentionned frequently...but again, rather unlikely and nothing being hinted at...

What i think is more likely is a or more new skill lines related to the content like bards college, or something people frequently mention like a fully fledged vampire skill line, other new type of "guild" skill line or a new weapon skill line without having to actually implement a new weapon...1h+spell being often requested...

so

You ask a question but don't like the answer - likely.

If we can assume that the previous chapters set a trend, then classes are added every two chapters while the chapter in the middle, which Skyrim would be, only add skill lines or a new craft or comparable feature.

Races will never happen. It just won't. Since Morrowind no new player races were added to any of the games. With ESO being set in the past, things like the Dwemer race returning or everyone knowing what Akavir is like are just not gonna happen. It would screw the continuity for the whole franchise. Perhaps a future TES games set in the future, but not ESO.

look i would LOVE a bard class....but the fact of the matter is that all guilds have been implemented as skill lines rather than classes - which makes somewhat sense, especially a line that would probably be themed around buffs and debuffs....
