ZOS When are we going to see ANY new content for DC?

Since Wrothgar in 2015 literally every single DLC and chatper have been AD and EP related. As it stands now you are out of AD territory to use after Summerset and Elsewyr. You have half of Black Marsh and maybe a DLC worth of Morowind open, after that Chapter and Murkmire. Yeah, you had the other half of Skyrim, sure....but EP already had Morrowind, Clockwork, Murkmire, a slew of dungeon DLC's and here we are 4 years later with more than half of Hammerfell unexplored and not a single new thing for DC at all. Afer all the time Skyrim has gotten since TES5 released almost 10 years ago, why do that now? A lot of players have had enough of Skyrim. Not the majority per se as I have no numbers to back that up, but the majority of the people I talk to were not looking forward to more Skyrim.

So what gives? When are we going to even see a dungeon DLC based on DC story, much less new zones opening up? Do we really have to wait until Skyrim, the rest of Morrowind, Cyrodiil and Black Marsh to be filled in before you bother getting around to it?

Pretty sure that TES VI is going to be set in Hammerfell, so I'm thinking that's why they're holding off...

Given the glimpse we've been shown, it's more likely High Rock, considering it was non-snowy Mountains and Valleys next to a coastline.

I'll believe it when I see it. and honestly, they could still do stuff here to build hype for TES 6

Oh, you may be right. Still DC though, yeah?

    Yup.

At this point, the only substantial Content for DC in ESO could be Hammerfell or the isle of Balfiera, considering we've seen almost 100% of the Breton and Orsimer territories (Barring small islands of little consequence).

Hammerfell is still missing a chunk of territory, nearly as much as Skyrim, and Balfiera is the home of the Tower of Adamant, which is potentially the most significant of the Towers in the franchise.

I get the feeling the Elder Scrolls 6 was planned a long time ago, and the fact that High Rock was pretty much mapped out from the launch of the game was to give people time to lost interest in the area and get hyped for a singleplayer RPG version of it.

I think you've hit the nail on the head with why they haven't, there simply isn't much left of DC territory to explore, just parts of Hammerfell and when that's gone then what? There is still a large chunk of Morrowind not done, (Enough for A expansion or A dlc) Massive chunks of Blackmarsh are not done. Even Cyrodil is mostly not in the game. DC had far more of it's territory covered than the other factions on launch, both Orisinium and Highrock are pretty small.

I wouldn't call half the province small, and there is as much of that left as there is of black marsh. but here is the reverse of the assertion. By waiting till it is the only thing left, once TES 6 is out and people have had enough of that, why would they then go and do more of it by buying the new chapter/dlc that covers Hammerfell? Plus TES2 covered High Rock and Wrothgar. They didn't really have to do much to define those areas since there was already a good deal of content in the lore. Scale down the landscape by a lot and throw in the quests, but they didn't have to build everything from scratch like they did for all of AD and will have to do of the Marsh when they get around to them.

What does it matter? The Alliances lost most meaning with One Tamriel, and all new content are separate from the Alliance, regardless of what territory they reside in. And honestly, the DC areas have already been filled in. All you have left is southern Hammerfell.

I never said what is left of Hammerfell was small. Just that is kind of it for DC territory. I can't imagine they'd wait for AFTER Hammerfell, they will probably wait until they can either build more hype for TeS 6 or around the same time so they can build off that hype, something they've never really had the opportunity to do.

That's kind of what I said though. They have as much of that left as they do of Skyrim and Black Marsh. As for what it matters? Something new we haven't done yet in any of the other games would be nice. But more than that, it has a ton of potential simply because they have never done anything with the culture much less territory. They give you a little in Ala'kir, but Craglorn and southern Bangkori have nothing related to it past some of the same ancient origins. Both are part of Hammerfell, but Craglorn doesn't delve into any of the lore, just gives a standalone story about the celestials. And Bangkorai is a Breton based story line.
