Crap Grindy Quests

When are you gonna stop putting these crap grindy quests in the game? I'm going through Dragonhold right now, and so far I've already got quests with objectives:
Drink water 0/5
Gather ingredient bottles 0/3
Seriously, you can't be bothered thinking up anything better so you just think "oh well the players won't mind, they're pretty dumb, they enjoy this mindless gathering people's random stuff and doing the same thing over and over, we think we've done a spiffing job with these quests."
I bet a 5 year old child could come up with more interesting and better stories.
