Bugged Deadly Strike set

Well its about 5 set bonus which say :5 items: Increase the damage your Physical, Bleed, Poison, and Disease damage over time and channeled abilities do by 20%.

I was testing it on my stamplar with biting jabs, which are channeled ability, and result was rly disapointing. It give stil only cca 14% boost not 20%

Was testing with selene + lokke + AY sets on 6 mil dummy, without any buff at 1st at 2nd test i swap AY for DS.

here is result with AY : o1m1em79jp87.png

and here with DS: hdak72rl2jav.png

diference in raw stats are realy marginal and diference in DMG of biting jab is only 14% boost from DS set :/
Adraria Argentum Draco - imperial Stamplar
Bevdyen Tus Ntxhuav - Orc Stamplar
Celestun Ira Dei- Imperial Tankplar
Halldis Rautt Höfuð- Nord Tankplar
Misawa Yoshike - Breton Healplar
Lae'ozhael - Dunmer Magplar

This is not a bug, it is intended. Damage increase multipliers stack additively in-game.

So, if x is the base damage of jabs, from your cmx report, minor slayer makes it 1.05x and minor slayer+deadly makes it 1.25x (if they stacked multiplicatively it would have been 1.05*1.2x=1.26x).
So now, your apparent % increase is (1.25-1.05)/1.05=0.19.
If you include other damage multipliers, mostly from cp, this will very likely go down to 0.14

I recently completed a deadly set for use in pvp, 3 jewelry+hands waist (test before buying and golding weapons to go 7 heavy...).

The specific numbers and sets aren't important, so for simplicities sake I'll say i tested it with orc stamaorc, dw/snb, 5 heavy 2 medium, hundings+bloodspawn+deadly/comparison sets. The comparison set always was jewelry+medium hands and waist. Some set jewelry is infused and some is gold, whereas deadly is purple robust, however besides that everything is the same.

On console so that consisted of equipping sets+buffing up+looking at tooltips of hurricane, blade cloak, and dawnbreakers dot portion. Note, i did not adjust cp (more on that later).

Deadly had marginally higher tooltips than most of the few other sets i tried (shackle, bone pirate, etc) and statwise they all were virtually the same. The only one that was higher, in max stam+wpn dmg+tooltip was hulking draugr, and that was also close - and i think is more due to 3x gold infused jewelry.

I'm talking they all were within a threshold of 1500 max between top and bottom.

Anyway, this is the first time I've really came across a set i dont know how to best utilize - I've heard its fantastic, and 20% increase is substantial.

    So a few questions:

Considering deadly gives 20% dot boost, are you better off having a low, high, or balanced build in terms of dot cp? Meaning do you further focus on dots, or are you better off using deadly to 'replace' dot cp and invest heavier elsewhere?

IDR where, but i read deadly does NOT affect tooltips - true?

    Lastly, nerf magsorc?
