What is offered this week?
The Golden vendor is a special vendor located in one of base camps for each faction in Cyrodiil that only appears on the weekend to sell monster sets that are obtained in the various group dungeons around Tamriel.

1. Ring of the Imperium – Healthy 250,000g / 500,000AP
2. Caluurion’s Legacy Ring – Arcane 250,000g / 500,000AP
3. Ring of the Ranger – Robust 150,000g / 300,000AP*
4. Elegant Ring – Arcane 150,000g / 300,000AP*
5. Valkyn Skoria Shoulders – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
6. Domihaus Shoulders– Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP

*Tradeable

Items purchased with Alliance points are impenetrable.

Note about Domihaus: when the 2nd set bonus says it creates a ring that deals damage, it really means ON the ring. Not IN the ring. Damage is ON the ring.

So your enemies must be standing ON the ring to take damage, not inside the ring. Yes, this is silly, but it appears to be working exactly as intended.

well, caluurion is good for no-cp.. but is it worth the 500k AP?

Imperium is a neat set. Would work great in Trials when everyone stacks on the Boss.

Tbh. It all depends if you have Dragon Bones DLC and Summerset chapter (for Jewellery crafting) .

If you dont own DLC - then it is useless anyway since you will miss 5 pcs bonus.
If you have DLC & Summerset chapter - then it is probably faster to farm the jewellery & upgrade it.

^ The whole paradox of Gold Vendor. Pretty much only thing worth buying is DLC dungeon monster helmets.
Shoulders you can get easy from Undaunted Vendor.
Rings & necklaces can be upgraded (and if you dont have corresponding dungeon dlc, you will miss 5 pcs bonus).

why would you upgrade jewelry?
it would cost way too much to upgrade it from purple to gold- you're better off buying them with gold.

why would you upgrade jewelry?

And lots of players are sitting on massive piles of AP, and will sell the rings to other players.

I am thankful that Zos upgraded the Golden. It was a long time coming.

One of the better changes that they made this year.

Ok, add two helmets to the list to be offered every week, rather than alternate helmet/shoulders, helmet/shoulders. How hard is that?!

Thanks for this. I always wondered why the damage from Domihaus was never quite what it seems is should have been. I just figured it was bugged. The description would tend to make you believe damage was similar to Grothdarr. Damage confined to ON the ring is beyond silly. That's just plain stupid. While you do get a 200 boost too damage when standing in the ring, it still makes this set pretty worthless.
