You cannot combine those items

So I know I shoulder 99% of the blame on this for not being punctillious but I'm still a little bit dirty about it and not sure if I should try to get my tickets back.

I assumed when I looked at my collections and it said that I didn't have specific feathers collected yet that I didn't have the mount, so I brought the feathers again. All four. Then when I went to combine them I get the message they cant be combined because they have already been collected.

Oh course now it shows them in the collection and each one is red when trying buy from the merchant but why wouldn't the game already know this if I already had them from before they updated the way collections work? I feel like I've been screwed out of 40 tickets.

You can't combine the feathers if you already have the Nascent Indrik.

Convert your Indrik to another one by using 4 berries, then you can combine the feathers to get a new Nascent Indrik (again).

To be honest I made a basic Indric mount and never since dared to know how to evolve. Too much effort, too lealltle understanding (I speak of myself now)

No, it actually removes the Nascent Indrik from your list of mounts. Which is why you then need the 4 feathers if you want to get it back.
