What will be your main playstyle in game? That would help people to know what sort of addons to discuss.

It depends on what you do in the game.

Some I couldn't bear to play with an think should be part of the default UI:
    • Advanced Filters and Inventory Insight for better inventory management
    • AI Research Grid and/or Trait Buddy for better management of known traits and styles, no need to use a crafting station
    • Awesome Guild Store and Guild Store Search Extended for functional guild traders
    • AlphaGear 2 for swapping between gear/skill loadouts
    • Dolgubon's Lazy Writ Crafter, Potion Maker and WritWorthy for crafting writs and master writs (though I no longer bother with any of those because it's still time consuming, boring, repetitive, the rewards are meh, and I have nothing to do with all the gold I get)

Apart from these, it's up to you. Combat Metrics has huge amounts of info that can help you improve at your role. Raid Notifier can save your behind, especially when the default telegraphs during certain fights can be easily missed. AutoRefine can instantly refine all raw materials, improvement materials, style and trait stones for each crafting station and keeps track of refining rewards, still quicker than ZOS' "refine all" option that you still need to use for each material you want to refine. There are add-ons for Skyshards, add-ons for Lorebooks, add-ons for undiscovered locations and for the location of delve and public dungeon bosses, add-ons for survey and treasure map locations, add-ons for minimaps, add-ons for trading, take your pick.

Is there any way Xbox users can implement add-ons or is this only possible for PC?

Bandits User Interface is a fantastic UI set, it has tons of features from individual mods, all built together.

    Bandits Gear Manager

    Dolgubons Lazy Crafter

    Advance Filters

    Assist Rapid Riding

    Awesomeguildstore

    Easy Travel

    Auto Recharge and Repair

    All the Map Pins

    NoAccidentalStealing

    pChat

    TTC

There are plenty more I use, but these add QoL enhancements that I would hate to lose and allow me to change up how the information is related to me, so it is how I like it.

    Bandits Gear Manager
Totally agree on bandits addons, they have features of many other addons (ie player/group frames, buff tracking, combat notifications/tracking, mini-map, cp helper) so they are beginner friendly (all-in-one kind of addon).

    other usefull addons not mentioned:
    • Whish List - if u gonna go heavily in pve, so u can get notification if someone in group gets specific gear u want
    • Circonians Addon Selector - if u gonna play pve and pvp or your game performance isnt always best. Selector lets u make profiles of addons, so u can quickly turn off non-esential ones for better performance in pvp or trails.

For merchanting: Master Merchant, Awsome Guild Store, Tamriel Trade Centre

pro tip: remember to read addon description. often they need some libraries to run (which can be downloaded in form of another addon).

pro tip 2: use addon manager like Minion

    For crafting

    - If you do crafting writs, especially on multiple alts- then Dolgubons Lazy Writ crafter is a must have. It reduces the time to writs to almost less than logging into each toon.

WritWorthy is great for Master Writs - you'll never mess up making one with this.

Lost Treasure is up on my crafter to make collecting surveys easy

Trait Buddy has been very helpful tracking research on my alts - it shows progress and what you need to make for all your alts.

    For gameplay

I can't do without Dressing Room for switching gear and bars - its very easy to use and saves me a lot of time when I switch between content - especially PVP to PVE and back.

Srendarr is great for showing buffs and dots on my mDK during fighting. I'd recommend that for sure.

Combat Metrics will let you take a detailed look at your parse - it will show what's working and what isn't - very helpful.

Light Attack has been helpful for giving me a good visual of my light attacks which are such a big part of DPS now.

    For trade

    - Master Merchant is still useful, but it seems borked nowadays plus you have to be in a trade to get any pricing indication. I use the Tamriel Trade Centre website now quite a bit now to get a sense of prices for things.
