so i spent an hour, and a few tears, and still cannot find the entrance??? can anyone give me a clue what i am doing wrong? i icked up the quest

Isn’t it just a little West of Tenmar Wayshrine? Where the Skooma Cat quest is?

If you follow the road, it will take you up some steps, through the gardens and into the Temple proper. It's a pretty straightforward path from the Tenmar Temple Wayshrine.

you see the black building on the map? i have spent sooooo much time trying to get into it! i took quest. the little building that you actually go into has one way in and one way out. no secret entrances, no other doors; nothing. i can go in, then back out the way i came in. leads nowhere

You can get into the temple then. It’s just very small. One room with stairs on the side up to the balcony, iirc.
