If you unwilling to be patient (or you purchased it because of the exploit), then open a support ticket.

Move along please, with the nonsense.

Hopefully the fix wont be like months away

Correct. No time frame is similar wording to Midyear Mayhem, Undaunted Celebration etc.
I'd rather have my Crowns back.
Nothing more, nothing less. The OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT says nothing, really.
Hi all, for those who haven't seen it, the community team posted an update here on the dungeon explorer costume. It's only temporarily disabled. You'll be able to wear it once fixed.

The update doesn't really say anything. Can't you give some time frame at least once?

As @Acrolas already said, if you would rather have your Crowns back, submit a support ticket on the website.

While it would be nice for those who purchased the costume to know when the fix will go out there is no reason for those players to be compensated since we should be able to use the costumes once the issue is resolved. So they will be able to use what they paid for.

I personally don't Care about the costume as I never bought it ir wanted it. But I can understand those who did buy it wanting some kind of refund or compensation because when you buy something you expect to be able to use it.
If you went to a restaurant and ordered a meal, then within moments of the dish being served rushed back up your table and snatched the food away, telling you your meal will return back to you sometime in the future, would you expect some kind of money back or compo? That's just an example, could say the same for most purchase.
People generally don't like their purchased goods being taken from them. It's not that completely out there to expect some kind of good will gesture to keep the customer happy.

The costume hasn't been taken from anyone - it's just temporarily disabled while they apply a fix. Players can certainly request a refund, but what kind of compensation would you propose? I purchased the costume, and am willing to wait until they fix the exploit - then I'll use it. If I can't wait, then I could request a refund. Simple. What other compensation is needed? Do players actually expect to get some free crowns for the emotional hardship of not being able to use the costume at the present time?

And as I have already said, I did. If neither of you can read, that is honestly not my problem. The answers I got back from ZOS support were less than promising...Then they stopped replying. So, here we are.
Thanks though, you helped!
