Or the Clockwork City event? Both of these showcased underappreciated content which is difficult to enjoy solo. Cancel Undaunted outright and rerun one of these in its place.
If I remember right, the only special elements of these events were tickets for doing dailies and temporary removal of the pay gate. If anything they took pressure off the Activity Finder. Instead here we are with no event, and a ticket/berries situation that will probably require changes to future events - all for a feature that doesn't belong in an MMO at all, and which has done grave harm to other games that use it. The Activity Finder exposes players to content before they find it naturally, makes painless the habit of neglecting guild and friends, and replaces feelings of journey and discovery with a minigame menu. Get rid of it!
But assuming that's not on the table, let's at least have something else for a world event from now on. An event that adds to feelings of adventure and danger instead of mocking them.
