Bound Armaments in need of fine tuning in PvP

I appreciate ZOS's rework of BA into an offensive skill, but I think at its current state in the game BA does not offer enough offensiveness. What I mean by that is that BA's mechanic of shooting 4 daggers at your enemy in rapid succession is disadvantageous.

As you know, BA is different from Grim Focus because it divides the total damage into 4 equal parts. This means that it is easier to achieve a higher average damage output with 4 daggers compared to just 1. For example, at 50% crit rate, you have a very good chance of critting at least 1 of your 4 daggers. However, since there are 4 projectiles instead of 1, each individual dagger will now inherit a 50% chance to crit. Thus, you usually end up with critting 1-2 of your daggers, and sometimes even 3, but it's rare to crit all 4 at the same time. With a single projectile however, the average damage will obviously be lower when it doesn't crit, but you're hitting for maximum damage when it does crit. Furthermore, the 0.3s delay between each dagger is a disadvantage as well. In a PvP setting you're either killing people with burst or sustained dot pressure. Bound Armaments acts like a watered down Grim Focus, but doesn't truly deal damage like a burst skill. The delay prevents a stamsorc from doing the most amount of damage in the shortest time possible.

I think there are 2 ways to address this problem - all 4 daggers need to hit the target at the same time, or rework the skill so that it conjures a single huge sword instead of 4 small daggers, and hits your target after 1.2 seconds, which is equivalent to the total delay duration of BA on live. This will ensure that PVE stays unaffected, while PvP gets a better BA that acts as a true burst skill.

What do you guys think?

    That's the point.

Sorc arguably has the best burst already, and you’re asking for another delayed skill to add to it?

I really hope ZOS doesn’t take “fine tuning” posts like this one seriously.

Sorc has garbage passives for Stam.

Which makes bound armaments garbage for competitive PvP.

cyrodiil lag and ping makes melee light attacks nearly unbearable to try to land outside weaving with gap closers. unless you're light attacking with a bow to achieve the stacks (which you could be in this example) it has largely only been used for its passives again on my bar

    least that's what I've noticed

Magsorc does, stamsorc has nothing that other classes don't also have access to. This is the first in-class burst tool stamsorc has received.

That is exactly how I feel when I use sweeps. You right, like BA sweeps should hit all four hits at once. 😁

I would tentatively agree. But I think its designed that way.

Personally I hate the fact it is daggers, I think it should be glowing shards of energy or something. I also find it frustrating how long it takes to execute, I would indeed prefer all "daggars" to fire at once.
