NOTE:
I am only posting this to share this glitch(?). I am not abusing it for my own progress. I saw it happen the first time when I was doing this WB for the quest and figured I would go at it again to have a complete video of this. Not sure if this is actually what is suppose to happen (given passives and such) but I feel it isn't right somewhere.

The Ult is Shooting Star IV: Each enemy hit, you gain 12 Ult. This means I had to hit 17 NPCs. Don't think that was the case in some spots in the video.

This ONLY happens to this boss with the ult. Never seen it happen before. And yes, I am wearing quite the mix gear but nothing to warrant ultimate regen.

      He summons a lot of adds... I'm pretty sure it's just because of Shooting Star's ult regen effect. If you have the Banish the Wicked passive, you can do the same thing so long as you kill them. I know I used to do that back when Templar's Empowering Sweep gave Major Protection. I could have that up nearly indefinitely during that fight.

      I posted about this a few weeks ago. Seems like shooting star is counting the actual dead bodies as enemies hit. So if you keep hitting the same spot where dead enemies are stacked you can pretty much chain Shooting Star for the entirety of the fight.

      Ah yes, I do indeed have that passive.

      At times though I only see the numbers for him when I hit him with the Ult so it doesn't makes sense as to why my Ult would jump so quick.

            Yeah that is indeed a bug. My best bet is since the adds rise up from the ground the game is prespawning add waves under the ground and Shooting Star is registering them as being hit.

            Absolutely not a bug, banish the wicked plus shooting star gives this result. This is super situational as well...

            had this happen once. I was in a trial ; HRC, on the first boss, meteoring the boss- it was hitting 3 people max, and my ultimate instantly regenerated. I was literally using it every 3 skills. my dps was 89k I think on a templar and i barely did anything because it was just meteors.

            Well decisive as well don’t forget. The trait has no cooldown as well. Just imagine getting minor and major heroism with other passive abilities procing ulti.

            That would support the theory that it is counting dead enemies as well. There’s usually a pile of them around during the first boss of HRC.

            No. You are wrong here. Banish the wicked works on enemies you kill. This is restoring your ultimate even when ads are not present during this fight. It is working when you cast shooting star and everything is alive and you hit them all and get ultimate back. But this is hitting nothing but the boss and registering hits om enemies that were already killed. Which is not how it is supposed to work. And has nothing ot do with banish the wicked since there is nothing there to kill when it is only the boss standing.
