Idea: Crafting overhaul

There was some topic recently about the clicking needed to craft some type of motifs.

So here my idea for an overhaul which is simplified, yet advenced and expanded.

New functions.:
- searchbar
- item preview with animation
- gridview
- masterworking*
-

The simplified menu would be 3 sided. Left side a list of the styles. (grid view or list view). The center would contain the traits, level and masterwork*. The right side would be the preview (with animation) and the item what you crafting.

*the masterwork would be an advenced level on cp160. Only golden tempered items could be masterworked.

Masterwork would not change the set stats. But rather the special stats like attack speed or how fast its breaks or unbreakable. Or the maximum charge

Unless you are crafting items for sale or writs, I’m not sure what the point of motifs in crafting actually is.

I can make my characters look the way I want using the outfit station. Why would I want to carry around 67 different trait stones?

Better to remove the whole thing from crafting altogether. Simpler and far more likely than any improvements, however well thought out.

One thing that would improve crafting immeasurably though would be being able to do more than 1 master writ at a time.

    Not paying money for styles?

I just craft stuff to look the way I like it and I never have to bother.
