Kuta Drops

Has anyone noticed when farming Runes, that Kuta drops has significantly been reduced? I used to average 1 Kuta every two or three days and the last time I had one drop was last week. I play daily and as I run around questing or what have ya, I'm always stopping at Runes to farm mats but I'm been getting nothing lately. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hmmm... weird, as I'm getting more Kutas than ever.

I haven't noticed it, no. I don't think I ever averaged a kuta every 2 or 3 days. Maybe about 1-2 a week, which is slightly less than your 1 every 2-3 days, so maybe rng is just averaging out for ya. I've only gotten 1 or 2 kuta heavy sacks since they added heavy sacks. But I do also get them from my hirelings as well. I didn't initially, even after i max'd my characters' skills & passives. So to me, drops from various sources have actually increased slightly.

I agree that even enchanting surveys are kinda pointless atm, I usually got only couple of kutas from 10 surveys and ton of other runes which are completely USELESS. They cost nothing in guild store, they cost nothing in npc store. Their drop rate is much higher then necessity. Basically there is only 3 desirable runes in the game - kuta, oko and hakeijo. All others are like base trait materials - in such abundance that you may just throw them out on sight.

Imo enchanting is lackluster atm and needs an overhaul. I think we need some sort of "temporary enchants" which will be notably more powerful then usual ones, but will expire like poisons.

I've never actually gotten a single kuta from a survey.
But, I haven't noticed any drop reduction either. Still seem to get them as often as I ever have.

Just a bad RNG streak, perhaps?

Kutas are streaky. Some days I harvest several and some days I see none. I check every rune stone I come across

Bad rng? I keep getting them in a similar ratio as before.

I've played for almost 5 years and still never got Kutas from the thousands of heavy sacks I've opened.

I got 2 kutas from one normal node just yesterday. And I rarely harvest for runes.

No.
I only noticed the priced dropped below 2k on PCEU, so no shortage it seems...

Same. Picked up a double on the only runestone I harvest with any regularity at all. I ride by it twice a day, and usually someone else has already picked it up.

I'm getting a lot more of them than I used to - from runestones, in the containers from crafting dailies, from hirelings. And heavy sacks too, as well as surveys.

And it looks like RNG has not been in your favor @I_am_Groot.

If you keep doing your same farm routes, it will eventually pick back up again.

In other words, there has been no change in the drop rate.
