Our options are the same since the game first launched. If you are having fun, play the game, it you are not having fun, don't play.

The mistake you've made is in assuming Zenimax just wants some of the money, when they really want all of the money. Look at how Activision Blizzard tied themselves into several knots to try to please both the Chinese and Western markets, because don't want one or the other, they want them both, they want it all.

If they wanted more money, why the hell was One Tamriel a thing?!

If they wanted more money they WOULD follow in Blizzards footsteps in making people PAY $100+ A YEAR TO EVEN PLAY THE GAME.

If you don't want to pay, don't pay. No one forced you to pay, no one forced anyone here to pay. Everyone here chose to pay for ESO+ which is subscription based, but for ESO, ESO itself is under $10 in sales.

I don't understand the petty ideas of:

Oh yeah here's a good idea, let's just not pay! A massive percentage of people don't pay for ESO plus, again if ZoS wanted more money then they'd want a subscription based game, but surprising it's not.

Pretty sure Zos would have stayed with the subscription model if they felt they would make more money. It is pretty simple. They gave that a go and the list of major MMORPGs that require a subscription is pretty short. We can say that Zos would make more money of they required a subscription like Blizzard does but that does not make it true.

Paying for something that doesn't work, and not working is protected by it's own terms of service is peak capialism.

I dunno why EU players are continuing to play it.

The issue is not capitalism, its greed.

I would suggest it is choice. The choice is ours to keep paying to play this game, at the most basic element to keep playing at all, or walk away.

It is business and nothing more. Granted, current signs are the business is poorly managed but we have really had that sign all along.

So in the end it is our choice. Our choice to stay and hope that Matt will finally get a clue or give up and walk away. While it is a business (and job) to them. It is merely game to us.

At some point it becomes more frustration than it is worth but that is a personal choice for each of us.

This is mainly for the PC EU players, seeing as we can hardly have one good day of playing anymore, and every maintenance patch either fixes nothing or makes it even worse.

A good day of playing what ?
