TL/DR: inventory hell kills the fun (at least for me)!
This week I decided to give ESO another try after several months...
But a maxed inventory (bank + storage furniture, backpack + riding lessons on 10/10 chars) that's almost full, or even above max (my bank, I had eso+ in the past), made ESO straight out unplayable for me!
I checked AlcastHQ for the "flavor of the month" Sets, and spent some hours deconstructing/selling a lot of things. But it's still a total mess, and I finally lost hope and gave up.
ESO has too many things to collect (gear, consumables, crafting materials/ingredients, ...), but offers no help to effectively manage all that stuff.
AddOns might help, but I'm on PS4.
ESO+ might help, but I didn't want to spend money right away.
Maybe they'll come around one day and offer tools, bigger space, a free crafting bag, or some other means to make it less of a nightmare, or even enjoyable to collect (and keep!) all these things.
Or maybe I'll come around one day and just scrap everything, and deconstruct, sell or destroy all my shiny things and start over. :'(
already did.. bought all storage chests, and made 10/10 chars (won't buy any more slots) and maxed all backpacks and riding lessons..You can buy storage chests now.
You either need to subscribe, make a lot of alternate characters to be your "mules"
didn't check, but I don't think so..or hope you end up in a dead guild where you have bank access.
that obviously kills a lot of fun... no one wants to throw away things that were earned and/or could still be of use.Otherwise you're going to have to throw away a lot of stuff you probably don't want to.

a sad truth, and a bad decision imho...Inventory slots were "OK"ish back then, but ZOS added more and more stuff over the years, while not really increasing inventory slots - driving the game into an "unplayable" state when not subscribed to ESO+.
I made the mistake to subscribe one day, and it was good while it lasted. But my inventory grew and grew, and I didn't have to worry about crafting materials.. now I can't even give ESO another try without going through hours upon hours of inventory management hell. Or at least I don't want to, because I'd have to leave all the shiny things behind....But then they need a constant flow of money, so in a way I can understand the brutal limitation of non-ESO+. For an occasional player, non-Plus should still be fine, for hoarders, it's obviously unplayable.
thank you for your trying to help.. I'll keep it in mind the next time 'round!...
I checked AlcastHQ for the "flavor of the month" Sets
some sets landed on my "to keep" list, in the end it doesn't matter how I made that list (or that I made it at all, heh).Alienoutlaw wrote: »this was your 1st mistakeI checked AlcastHQ for the "flavor of the month" Sets
9 psn accounts? tbh I really thought about doing just that, but I would have to make as many extra e-mail adresses first.. and now it's starting to be too much trouble. Still, I keep it in mind..Alienoutlaw wrote: »its free to play at mo so why not make 9 new accounts create a guild and bosh 500 extra bank space
Got plenty of gold.. but I didn't want to spend money, yet, and that includes extra character slots.I believe you can have 18 characters. Make some mules and if you got gold, upgrade bags.

lol, gmail won't let me use "_" in an email address?! And sony won't accept my (non offensive!) username, or gives a "timed out" error.. wtf?!Alienoutlaw wrote: »it does take awhile to set up but you only have to do it once and its done9 psn accounts?

But I'll keep on trying.. maybe I have to create the psn accounts from my ps, and not in my browser. Pfft..
Gear, mostly...sudaki_eso wrote: »Seems like a messy problemWhat are you collecting that the bank space, inventory of 10 chars and storage chest arent enough?
