Why did you put more guards at Cropsford than the other 2 towns?

The Cyrodiil map PVP Objectives are asymmertical. EP has a disadvantage whereas AD and DC are nearly equal/identical.
Cropsford, the town in EP's territory, is out-jutted towards AD whereas AD's town, Vlastrus, is tucked inside AD territory.
For Cyrodiil to be 3-way symmetrical/even, Cropsford Town and Harlun's Outpost positions would either need to be flipped OR Cropsford would become the 'Outpost' and Harlun's Outpost become the 'Town.'

Again, look at Castle Brindle's Vlastrus Town & Carmala Outpost as well as Fort Dragonclaw's Bruma Town and Winter's Reach Outpost. Each faction has their respective territories' towns placed slightly differently, with EP's Cropsford being the most vulnerable next to the 3 AD-EP bridges; again, whereas AD's Vlastrus Town is tucked safely between 4 of AD's native Castles...

Not to mention DC's Chorrol & Weynon Priory and EP's Cheydinhal 'towns' that both receive 'daily quests' but not the Town PVP objective.

I don't like it either, I'd personally prefer a perfect equidistant 3-way symmetrical Cyrodiil map with proper corresponding & matching PVP objectives; but, oh well. Such is life.

The extra guards don’t really prohibit any player from soloing the town in its entirety ... I think this is a non-issue.

They wanted EP to have an easy well guarded place right at ADs back keeps while purple team pushed AD home keeps together never fighting over the top of map

Clearly I'm going to have to pay more attention the next time I go to Cropsford.

I barely remember Vlastarus, but Bruma has hostile Daedra/worm cult NPCs crawling all over it plus a dolmen for extra challenge. The goblins around Cropsford are comparatively easy to avoid, IMO.

Not stray NPCs, the outlier flag at Cropsford has 6 guards whereas the other towns have 0.

Agreed, but that's what makes it disturbing. The president's attempt to buy Greenland is a non-issue, but... Whyyyyy...

@Darkmage1337 EP and AD are strategically identical, except Cropsford and Hurluns should be swapped so there's one town and one outpost behind each alliance's emp keeps. DC has a very strong advantage with Bruma and Carmala located where they are. Distance between DC home keeps needs adjustment as well.

Or just triple the number of guards at an arbitrary lumber mill, why not.

Looking back at older threads, apparently this changed back in late 2018 With Murkmire when ZOS added the destructible bridges and I completely missed it.

So it likely has something to do with the difference between the bridges vs milegates or the geography of Cropsford relative to EP keeps vs Bruma and Vlastarus to their respective factions.
