✭✭sure flying mounts...when they decide to upscale the whole areas by 100% so each damn zone is at least the size of cyrodill...EACH...and also increase the draw distance by 150% otherwise the very moment you go 50 meters up high you will see only a deep fog around you and nothing else...cuz you know...LOGIC!
P.S. no wonder imperial city and the whole empire of cyrodill its still under war with no actual development...I would also have a hard time progressing when asking for siege but I cant see a damn thing 50 meters in front of me...0 -

✭Loved the broomstick mount in FFXIV. Could work well in ESO. Would just be gliding on magicka instead of flying through the air. And if we die from fall damage or from taking too much damage from mobs, we die with our trusty broomstick at our side.1 -

After all, "flying" would be a mechanic, "hovering" just a visual effect while the mount uses the exact same mechanics like any other mount. It would be just like any hourse, if you merely deleted the legs.
And it -would- make a great addition to ESO, to have "magical" hovering mounts, be they breton floating broomsticks, redguard floating carpets, orsimer floating mortar&pestels, dunmer floating driftdisks, altmer floating magic clouds or daedric floating thrones or whatever else that floats your goat...
Oh, and there could also be flying creatures as "mounts" so burdened by their passenger they can oly reach "floating " heights. Like... harpies carrying your character around, like in that one quest, except as mount...
And of course, it has often be mentioned that if they could make "usage-limited" mounts work, there could be werewolf-only "direwolf shifting" mounts and vampire-only "bat swarm transformation" mounts...

But yeah. It could be done, though it might get a little too tall with Giants, but Ogres or Minotaurs ought to work I guess...

Perhaps even a small victorian one-person carriage, both in "noble" and in "spooky vampire" design?

✭✭Nice to have as a memento for 30 seconds of fun...
I am against all flashy non lore related cosmetics, mounts or whatever that are permanent (I do not mind seasonal or temporary flashy/gimmicky stuff for fun or RP like some mementos) because the game loses its identity with each gimmick that is not Elder Scrolls.
This is not Sims. Yeah it is fine that we have all these events, but somehow I dislike copying the real life holidays into games which have their own setting. I hated this in WoW too... it has Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and so on. At least in ESO we have some lore-friendly events, but more and more crown store content is blurring the line between what makes Elder Scrolls stand out, and what every other MMO has.
What is next? Light sabers and BB8 pets?
