Maintenance for the week of January 20:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – January 20
• NA megaservers for maintenance – January 22, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EST (14:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – January 22, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 14:00 UTC (9:00AM EST)

Is login issues for "some players" the only thing they can fix ?(temporarily)

When taking down servers for maintenance do they only fix the login issues ? Nothing else ?

When you say "nothing else" are you referring to like bug fixes for in game content? If so, the answer is that they do not fix these type of issues unless it's some sort of hotfix for a serious bug, which is not considered "maintenance". Fixing content/in-game issues would require you to download whatever changes they made. Maintenance is usually just restarting servers, cleaning up data, and basically getting the server-state back to point A. Granted, I am not privy to their maintenance operations so I am merely speculating based on my experience, but maintenance typically refers to hardware whereas patches/updates/hotfixes refer to actual content changes (and again, requires you to download those changes).

Guess I should thank you for the clarification, the post wasn't intended to be taken literally. It's just provoking that they have to take down the servers every other day and on top of that they introduce a sale and a free to play event.

TBF I pretty much thought you were complaining that Zos was not fixing other issues with this unplanned maintenance. Your clarification you just provided makes less sense but we are all entitled to our own opinions.

In what way does it make less sense ?
