Ok seriously I've been patient but COME ON. Is there ANY possibility the server work in performance plan can come way sooner? Any more communication on this? What is is going to entail? How will it affect us?
I also want to know what these current problems are - what's causing it. I think we should know.

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

Well taht makes no sense and is a terrible way to inform us players.. Why do i have to log onto a german forum to find out if the maintenance has been extended and if there is any update lol.. This should be universal and should be posted on all EU forums that exists if so. Tomorrow i have to check twitter for updates and next week i can only play from an app. Badly done, information liek this should be easy to access for those concerned!0 -

But that would mean they'd have to admit that there was something more wrong, something that can't be fixed by just turning the server on and off a few times (i.e. "performing maintenance.") They also get posted here. There is information, just not blatant in your face, like maintenance notes. The hamster powering the login database server had a heart attack and fell out of its wheel, causing the server to grind to a halt.
Server technicians tried to shock start its little heart, but they forgot to reduce the power of the defibrillator made for humans, and the poor hamster was fried.
Server management staff are currently shopping for a new hamster, but they were out of stock in the pet shop.
They managed to get the name and address of the little girl who bought the last one, and they are now trying to buy it from her.
Unfortunately, the person managing their budget doesn't want to pay full price for it, seeing how it is now pre-owned by the little girl, and negotiations have stalled.
(While that is not anywhere near the truth, it's certainly more details.)
