I lose over 200 spell damage on my front bar for no reason.

I don't know what happened. I wear two 5 piece sets and get those bonuses at all times. Before the patch, my offensive stats were the same on both bars. Now, I lose 202 spell damage on my front bar. What changed?

Is one of your weapons Nirnhoned or Purple quality?

My weapons don't matter because my base spell damage isn't affected by the set which has the weapons. I wear innate axiom so the spell damage from those weapons don't even show on the character sheet. There's no reason my spell damage should change just because I switch from my front to my back bar. It was never an issue until this patch.

I'm not in the mood right now.

    I'll explain again though.

I have two five piece sets. The damage set is Innate Axiom. The weapons on both bars are part of that set. The extra spell damage does not appear on the character sheet however, so the only stat you see is my base spell damage. When I swap bars, the only thing that changes should be my resistances (as it always worked before). But now when I swap bars, I lose 202 spell damage for no freaking reason.

Nirnhoned trait weapons add spell/weapon damage and if I remember right it’s around 200 spell damage on 2H weapons

What type of weapons? What traits do your weapons have? What level are the weapons? What is their quality/color?

Also what class are you? Sorcerers get up to 2% bonus spell damage for each class skill slotted on the active skill bar, so if you have several on one bar and few on the other it could cause the change you observed.

I have a sword and shield on the front bar with sharpened trait and a resto-staff on the back bar with powered trait. Both are crafted in Innate Axiom. The only non-class skill I typically slot when soloing is Siphon Spirit on my back bar. When I swap to my front bar, I lose the spell damage. I've been using this set up since last winter. I don't understand it. This has never happened before.

Yes but what class?? Class passives can affect weapon and spell damage. Maybe something changed in one of them. Maybe take a picture of your build with Superstar, or screencap if ur console.

A lot was changed in U24. It would help to know what class you’re on, as Innos and Wuffy said, and what specific skills you’re running. Some passive effects and abilities were changed in U24, which might help account for the difference. With more information we can try to point you to these changes and narrow down the source of the discrepancy.

Keep in mind that the set itself is irrelevant here. The specific weapons you’re running would indeed make a difference in base spell damage if they differ in level or color/quality. Staves and one-handed swords each give 1335 damage at cp 160 in gold. Purple weapons give 203 damage less than gold. If your sword and staff are not the same level or quality as each other, you will see a difference in base spell damage between your bars. That is due to the innate damage granted by each weapon, completely independent of its set (if any).

Magplar. I'm going to do some testing when I get home. I've never seen a decrease like this before just from bar swapping. If this has always been happening, I don't know how I could have missed it.
