PVE - how to end all power creep and to difficult / to easy

A new story, to say how our character is actual a spawn of Oblivian, but want to be a puny mortal that we have taken the shape of (i.e. human, elf, Khajiti, Argonian).
So when we start at level 1, full CP, full attribute level, can basically one shot everything.
As we progress we get the ability to remove attribute points, damage, resistances. The armor sets would help reduce our resistance and attribute pools and damage.
This way nothing is ever to hard. So it's no need to nerf anything. No need to nerf armors, skills, or monsters.
And as the game progresses, you get more stripping of power, rather than actual power creep.

Two Leader boards:
1 timed (based on speed of clear) plus how less you have. It would be based on how little people could use and still clear.

2nd not timed plus how less you have.

Party score based solely on the highest value of any person in the party. That way one person couldn't be oneshot everything while others are totally 0.

Of course this system would have a lot less "Achievements" in the terms of completing dungeons and trials, and more based on what amount of power was used to complete the dungeons and trials.

Just a thought.

    Huh?

Game performance, passives not working, more bugs and less fixes, drastic combat changes, stripping class identity, the loading screen game, etc....

How about Zos focuses on fixing the game so we can play it. That would be a fantastic idea.

You should have kept that thought to yourself.

Hmmm. Putting the bare minimum back in min-maxing.

Its interesting, but rather contrary to the current game design. For example, look at resistances. Right now, players get those from potions, skills, sets, and CP. Designing new gameplay around removing that feels backward.

I'm all for having the option to remove our stats. That's often requested by players who want more difficulty in overland questing.

It's an interesting concept, to have progression in reverse. So I do give you points for that. But I'm not crazy about the idea.

Part of what makes MMORPGs interesting is becoming more powerful as you level up and progress so that your character can take on things that used to chew you up and spit you out. To me, that is one of the more satisfying elements of an MMORPG.

Yeah, everyone enjoys becoming weaker as you progress. Just look at how much people praise the latest patch!

    Yeah, terrible idea.
