Where does ESO currently sit in the Hierarchy of Bethesda/Zenimax Games?

I'm talking in terms of Revenue, focus, and overall importance.

Where does ESO sit on the Totem Pole of Zenimax franchises/games?

(this includes Bethesda, as it is a subsidiary of Zenimax)

Can ESO be considered a "Flagship" at this point, along with Fallout and the main Elder Scrolls Series?

There are no flagships in Zenimax fleet now, all games are considered cattle at stage when wool is cut. I.e. Zenimax is looking at highest possible revenue with least possible expenses. Same as nearly any other major gaming corporation on the market. Until we vote with our vallets it'll remain the same.

Probably. BGS certainly has nothing on the docket. I don't think FO76 is doing as well.

It gets its own E3 presentation every year, 4 DLCs a year, 1-3 high quality cinematics, and the production quality of dlc has not lessened.

It is pretty high up, id say.

ESO currently is a milk-cow like FO76 is.

Yeah most of the updates now revolve around the cash shop like Swtor does

SWTOR is EA/BioWare though, not Zenimax.

We have no way of knowing what their revenue is like, because Zenimax is a privately owned company so they have no shareholders and don't make their finances public. You can find plenty of speculation around the internet, but none of it will be based on actual financial reports.

As for importance as someone else said the game gets 4 releases a year (2 dungeon DLCs, 1 'chapter' which is downgraded to DLC after a year and 1 zone DLC) plus balance patches and various other updates. There's supposed to be server and memory fixes coming soon too.

It's obviously not their only game, but it is still actively developed, and it's difficult to make a direct comparison between the lifecycle of a single-player game (which is released, gets a few DLCs if it's successful and then they move on to the next game) and MMOs which keep going as long as possible (over 20 years in some cases).

SWTOR has brought EA 1bil since release...sad consumer.

I'm sure ESO continues to make the Trump family, Cal Ripken, that producer of Top Gun, etc...very happy.

Revenue-wise, it's clearly near the top - since as an MMO with expansion, subscriptions, and a cash shop, it's a continuing revenue stream. Unlike the single player games (by this point, every who wants a copy, has a copy of Skyrim & Fallout 4. On any platform they desire).

There's a reason why publishers like these sorts of things (and all the other forms of Multiplayer games that have continuous revenue streams. Whether it's lockboxes, skins, map packs, 'season' passes, or whatever.)
