Nah, cast and aim. It doesn't require channeling to get off, and you don't have to sustain it, it lets out the breath all at once.

I would argue that Inhale on Draconic Power line is channeled because it takes 2.5 seconds to end the animation.

Otherwise to OP, I think that's it.

I would argue as it’s not a channeled ability due to the fact that channeled abilities are very clearly defined and breath isn’t one of them. It’s just a delayed DD like beetles, power of the light, haunting curse, etc.

If you’re a Stam DK you can get some channels through the weapon lines such as rapid strikes, dizzy swing, and snipe. Ultimates like soul assault and toxic barrage are also channels.

Generally speaking, templar is considered the class build around channels

Not the Fiery Breathe mate, that one isn't channeling.

Inhale is a different skill on the Draconic Power Line:

"Channel draconic energy to suck in the air around you, dealing 2528 Magic Damage to nearby enemies and healing you for 100% of the damage caused. After 2.5 seconds, you exhale fire, dealing 5707 Flame Damage to nearby enemies."

I just wasn't sure I wanted to classify it as truly being channeling - because to me channeling usually means "cast time before firing."

@lagrue inhale is 100% not a channeled skill. It is a delayed damage skill. Like sub assault or blastbones.

You are indeed right. I was ill informed about how the animation gets off. I thought we had to be firmly planted until the detonation happened, but I respecced and tried it again (been a long time) and indeed you are right.

Inhale works similar to sub assault, Its a delayed burst ability, not a channel, the cast is instant and it doesn't really stop you from doing something else.

There is none, either channel or cast time (Inhale is instant with extra effect when it hits at least one enemy, but can be ani-cancelled right away). Only skill that can be considered as channeled but technically isnt, is Dragon Leap, because you cant do anything during jump animation unless you stand right next to jump destination. All DK abilities are instant.
