PVE - 32k armor cap. Is everything above a waste?

✭Above 32k is only useful for PvP
If you plan to be tank in PvP, 40k resistances+ is not overkill there

33k is the cap for the resistances and provides 50% dmg mitigation. A higher resistance will only help in the case of an armor debuff, I think or against armor penetration.
