Really enjoy playing this game, all is working today (so far) enjoying it and having fun !
When Everything works as it should, nothing beats this game. (somewhat subjective and personal opinion)

It depends on what you like. Others have described ESO as a jack of all trades, master of none. On the whole, I agree with that assessment. The main reason I play this game is because I'm a roleplaying nerd. And I can say quite easily that a single-player game designed from the ground up as a proper RPG (such as Divinity: Original Sin 2 or the Outer Worlds) beats the pants off of ESO. That said, ESO excels above games like these in one area - the sheer size and scope of the world that enables for the biggest open world RPG experience on the Xbox One.

Yeah. Speaking for myself, outside of some sluggishness for the first 3-5 minutes of play, it's been an absolute blast.

Agreed. Especially in terms of voice acting, great dialogue, immersive stories, etc. And While other games might have better graphics thanks to not being MMOs, ESO's textures and attention to detail are staggeringly well thought-out.

The obsession with graphics has always kind of confused me. I mean, it just isn't necessary to develop and create a good game. Maybe that's because I grew up with tabletop RPGs and text-based games where I had to use words and my imagination instead. :D

As a rp nerd you migh try SWL, it's a lovely fee online single player game. Just finish the main storyline and quit.
But why do you compare single player rpgs with a MMO?

I get why people like better looking graphics but I always find it funny when people get in nerdy arguments about draw distance or pop-ins.

Oh no, my mersion is ruined because a mountain 5 miles way just popped in! This is so unrealistic! Now I’ll have to go and dismount my lightning shooting bear mount to post about the lack of realism!!

    I agree.
When everything is working, game is a 10/10.

Sadly, most days for me it's 4 or 5/10.

Still decent, but at times aggravating AF.
(Abilities not working and lag in general being the major gripe.)
