Itemization suggestion: Head and/or shoulder for 3-piece sets

Adding heads and/or shoulders to the three-piece sets would allow you to run 2 three-piece sets simultaneously. It would add a lot of new build options going 3/3/5/1.

Also, they could give the head/shoulder pieces unique models like monster sets, adding a bit of aesthetic diversity as well.

I like the monster sets the way they are. If you wanted some other three piece sets for some variety, that’s fine.

    What would the 1 be?

    I guess a 1pc monster set.

But, I mean, I'm struggling to think of a pair of 3pc jewelry/weapon sets I'd actually want to pair together. Maybe Eagle Eye and Agility or Grace of Ancients and Willpower, but... why? Those sets aren't really that appealing.

I agree on both points. I just do not see a worthy purpose for it for Zos to spend the energy on adding the additional pieces.

    What would the 1 be?

My guess is an arena weapon on the back bar.

That's 2pc. 2h Weapons count as two pieces now, and have since Summerset. I was sitting here trying to come up with an ability altering weapon option that would make sense, but there isn't one. In cases like that you'll either run 5/5/2 or 5/3/2/2. (Or, 5/5/2 with 5/3/2/2 on the back bar.)

Yeah, that’s the only 1pc set I’m aware of. But the request is for 3pc head and shoulder pieces, implying they would not be using a 1pc Monster Helm in either of those slots.

I guess it could be something like a 3pc set with Weapon and Shoulders, a different 3pc set with jewelry, and a 1pc helm, but that doesn’t sound very effective.

Yeah, that was the only possibility that tracked for me, and you're right, it doesn't sound like a good idea.

All the 3 piece sets are extremely stat dense. It's the fact that you can't run 2 of them kind of keeping them in check.

Or just make these 3 Piece sets 2 Piece sets... Like an alternative to Monster Sets.

This was my thought, running 2 of them would be pretty strong power budget wise.

If head and/or shoulder pieces were added to the existing 3-piece sets, the distribution I'm considering would look like:

Ring, ring, neck: 3-piece set A
    Weapons, head: 3-piece set B
Shoulder: monster set piece (one piece bonus)
Chest, hands, waist, legs, feet: 5-piece set

Not enough to justify giving up a second 5pc bonus.

I mean, why run Grace of Ancients + Willpower when you can just run Crafty Alfiq instead? Simultaneously actually getting your bonuses from your head and shoulders.
