I've seen where they went back and added a bunch of Stam sets that mimic'd magic sets. Where is the magic version of deadly strike?

    clearl magicka isnt the present focus. prefected false god's devotion, wise mage, and viscious death are the only things that come anywhere close.
    I simply must protest. There are no Penguin avatars for me to use in the forums.

    Deadly is used in PVP. But even more so in PVE

    if there was a magicka version it wouldn't look the same at all to the stamina version due to the values you gain from the light armor passives/ CP/ Etc.

    If anything it would give you spell Crit to your magicka dots

    with the nerfs to dots there's a good chance we'll see a set like this soon

    Does there really have to be a magicka and stamina version of everything? Why can't different archetypes feel different and have a unique identity like they used to.

    Mag doesn't use bleeds lol but for the other stuff maybe

    I agree. A few counterpart sets are fine but unique ones add the flavor.

    honestly while these type of flat bonus sets might be efficient, they are also insanely boring...

    I much rather have more sets with interesting bonus and new visual effects... sets like the new ancient dragonguard one that allow for more interesting builds...they did a pretty good job with the sets for dragon hold

    When was the last time stamina got a mirror of any good magicka set? Meanwhile, magicka got mirrors of Bone Pirate, better version of Vicious Ophidian, etc.

    True, nobody uses DoTs because they’re about 20% too weak. This set would solve that problem.

    Exactly... People seem to want every spec of every class to have access to the exact same skills and gear. Pretty soon it won't matter whether you're a Nightblade or a Templar or a Warden, we're all gonna have access to Cloak and Streak and Radiant Oppression, and we'll all be blowing everyone up in Pvp because of the new Vicious Death sets that have been developed for magicka DDs, tanks, and healers, and Major Slayer may as well just be added to everyone because of the new mag version of Lokkestiiz.

    Not sure how valid this is, but Elemental Succession adds spell damage to frost, shock, and flame attacks, which to me is a loose parallel to Deadly Strike. I still maintain that we don't need mag and stam versions of every single set in the game.

    Hey hey hey! Not to long ago there was a big uproar from Stam player's about how it wasn't fair for mag to have some of the recovery sets they had. Stam player's made a big stink of it here on forums. Next 2 or 3 patches later they had the mirror image sets. NOW, I want my Magic version of DEADLY STRIKE! Fair is fair

    War Maiden is a flat buff to all magic damage and no buff at all to other forms of magicka-based damage like elemental. Deadly Strike is a percentage buff to all forms of stamina-based DoT damage (physical, bleed, poison, disease).

    There’s nothing that comes to mind as a stamina sustain set that hasn’t been in the game for years already. What sets are you talking about?

    You know, it's not like magicka VO was added to the game or something, right?

    I think we are pretty even on sustain sets.

    Exactly, Dragon Bones is ancient by now, all the Ophidian sets are even older. Bone Pirate was base game.
