But I can't.VaranisArano wrote: »logarifmik wrote: »Is it "Witch" for male characters as well?
Yep. There's no gender distiction noted for that title, similar to the Jester Festival "Empieror".
Men can wear the Glenmoril Witch robes
Men can wear the Witch hat.
Men can get the Witch title.
I now suspect that "Witch" is a gender neutral job description in 2nd Era Tamriel.
Enjoy!

Didn't know it. In Russian there are different words for females and males specialized in witchcraft; "ведьма" and "ведьмак" or "ведун". That's why I expected to see a "Witcher" for males. Anyway, I want this title for my Argonian Maiden, so it doesn't really matter.Exactly. In some old school rpg/fantasy lore the difference between witch/ warlock/ sorcerer/wizard was not by gender but by type of magic.
Can I save up the Writs and do them after the festival to get the Witch Title or do I have to do it during the Festival ?

LOL, that's just ridiculous. I doubt, that CD Projekt RED is so greedy. In Kingdom Come: Deliverance there is a perk "Witcher", and there was no lawsuits about it. Eight save us from such copyright laws.VaranisArano wrote: »logarifmik wrote: »Didn't know it. For what its worth, in English, "Witcher" is currently rather heavily associated with another video game series based off a series of novels featuring one Gerald of Rivia, so I doubt ZOS wanted to mess with potential copyright issues.
A male witch is a male witch, there isn’t a technically correct term for a male witch.
Some would say ‘wizard’ but that’s a totally different ’species’.
During the witch trials a witch was a witch and gender didn’t matter, which is probably what they’re going for.
