How would you kill them in PvP?
There's this particular nuisance in Vivec City on the EU server and all they do is play the Esraj - the most annoying instrument in the game.
Ignore means you will no longer see their messages in chat and they can not whisper you. That is all it does.
Why is it that when I put other players on ignore, their characters still show up in game? There's this particular nuisance in Vivec City on the EU server and all they do is play the Esraj - the most annoying instrument in the game. They even named their character accordingly. Of course the best solution is to simply block the idiot, but apparently that doesn't work. They're on ignore yet they still manage to annoy people. What's the point of this ignore system really, if it doesn't prevent us from running into these annoying people in game?

Ah, the new tradition: several players playing esraj near crafting areas. All detuned. Mind blowing imo lol literally lol
Ignoring them doesn't mean you will stop listening to the sounds/music they produce. Can't you mute the sound while you are near them?
When I'm not in the mood, I just try to be near the area for the least amount of time possible.
The singer in Rimmen uses another instrument, an sort of mix of an harp and an guitar. How about a toggle to switch off player generated sound, save for combat effects etc, such as that deafening explosion when some mounts appear?
I must admit I do find that particular instrument a strain on the ears, though the in game singer in Rimmen sounds fine. It's when another player is doing it. I gather it's a Khajiit thing, but does it need to sound like a bag of scalded cats?
Game is set to try to put you in an instance with people in group, friends, guild mates and not people you ignorewhen eso launched in 2014 they said you can set yourself to offline mode. and even your guild mates AND people you set on ignore would be in a different instance than you the next time you logged in.
i do not think that changed, although it might have.

No, it wouldn't. I've had perverts hound me and people stay with me a long time teabagging me constantly. I need to be able to have the ignore function erase completely. No seeing them, no being pugged together in dungeons with them, no hearing them, no seeing their messages, etc. I'm tired of the harassment. There needs to be a stronger version of ignore. Not everyone has to use it.
