If you have a newish PC, like 5-6 years old or less you will probably not see any improvements to FPS. They are hoping it helps console but they have no way to test it on mass scale until it releases on them. I’m doubtful it will help much.

As far as latency those changes are not even close to being implemented yet. They are last on the list to be exact 9 months from the timeline we were given. We are only 2 months into that 9 months if anyone was wondering.

It's nothing major. Best outcome would be less crashes here and there for stupid memory reasons and a few extra frames. It's just a step into performance fixes, but not a small one given that it actually fixed the memory crashes.

Yesterday I had stable 70 FPS during 20 min loading screen just before EU server crashed. In main menu though (when I was trying to login back for like 2 hours) I got stable 120 FPS ! ! !

Zero FPS improvement. Only latency got higher. Just did vFG2 and all group members, all 4, had ping that ranged from 300-700.

I am constantly getting random drops down to 20-30 fps, i know my pc isnt that great, but before this patch this would very rarely happen to me. This patch has been a nightmare so far.

I've noticed some frame rate hitches out in the middle of nowhere, and I can now see objects loading in. I never saw that before. Spell effects seem to be delayed as well. Before the expansion my FPS would be chunky as I just zoned in somewhere, then it would be smooth as butter. Now it's just chunky all over.

A step backwards for me.

Major patch day. Performance is usually poor on a major patch day. Best to evaluate any performance improvements a few days later.

I still have terrible lag at any heavily populated area.

Also want to add that the longer I play the worse performance gets. My frames go from 60 to 5 every few steps I take it's very annoying. Makes going to pick up or turn in quests a chore.
Yesterday at one of the new world bosses there were about a dozen of us and as soon as the boss spawned and we began to fight everyone was hit with a huge lag Spike and everyone insta died. So whatever was done to make performance better it didn't work.

I got an overall fps increase. It was very noticeable, I could see my character move smoothly. It didn't happen in an eternity. Then I got kicked and couldn't log back in.

Amazingly, using the exact same set up I can get 60fps on the NA server

Southern Elsweyr seems to have the usual lag, stopframe, rubber banding and crashing to desktop we have come to expect from new ZOS product..

Which is a shame as the content, when usable, is excellent.

Here's the thing though. I'm on one of those newish pcs and I would be fine with not seeing any improvement as things have been okayish for me. But not only haven't I seen improvements (as I said, that's fine) things have gotten drastically worse.
1) 5-10 minutes loading screens are now more the norm than the exception, even when they claim they've "fixed the issues".
2) Fps drops happen all over the place in places where I had none prior to yesterday and where there's literally no logical reason for it.
3) Environmenta take foreverto load. Going from Rimmen Outlaw Refuge to the stabels and the stabel master and everythign but the building itselftook a good two minutes to appear, then another 30 seconds or so before I could interact.
4) Any battle with more than 5 pele present is a slideshow.

Idk what they did, but I wish they would reverse it.

Its completely bugged. I ran into a dungeon and no enemy npcs attacked me it was so poor.

I fight an enemy and for the first 15 secs it takes no damage at all, then instantly drops dead.

Abilities don't trigger.

Interaction with objects require mashing keyboard.

Its miserable.

All transport shrines have become a vortex of GPU drain.
